The problem with Kris though is that his style may be contemporary, but it's not a style that is lighting up the charts at the moment. Comparison with Taylor, music-wise at least, is a possibly legitimate one. David Cook and Daughtry, for example, make music that is selling nowadays. Kelly employed the same bunch of people that wrote songs for pretty much every female solo artist at the moment to give her the current "saleable" sound. I do wonder what Kris and Adam will fare, because their style of music is not a good fit in today's current music, unless their handlers make them go the alt-rock route. Adam can possibly sell that role, but I have a hard time seeing mild-mannered bottom bitch Kris as a David Cook type. |

I kind of agree with you that Adam came across as a nice guy on the show. Plus the others speak well of him.
However, I must admit I'm picking up quite a bitchy vibe in some of the recent videos with him and his meth addict looking bf. Maybe he is a diva. Let's see if more stories about his attitude start to come out. |
