Whoa, I'm pleasantly shocked to find CSC calling a Palau episode one of his all-time favorites. Back when it first finished airing, I would've called Palau overrated probably but over the years it's become underrated, especially considering how people still hate it and rank it below CI or Micronesia or Tocantins.

Likewise, I think Rupert went from overrated to underrated (at Sucks at least). Even in ASS, where he was relatively low-key, he still had some good moments.

Lex is incredibly underrated. For a long time I was totally on Rob's side of that whole issue--they both made moves that they thought would help them advance; it just didn't work out in Lex's case. But then a few years after ASS aired, I saw some Insider footage that I must've missed the first time and unfortunately is no longer up AFAIK because CBS took down all the old Survivor sites. But basically it was like an extended version of Rob telling Lex and Kathy he wasn't going to keep them. They actually were pretty calm (but peeved) about it and IIRC Kathy went up to Rob to discuss it civilly and he listens at first. Then he randomly and angrily says "You know you're in the wrong," starts cursing at her and repeatedly yells "You KNOW you're in the wrong!" I dunno, it seemed like Rob was desperately trying to not feel guilty so he had to convince himself that Kathy and Lex were the ones being unreasonable.

Don't get me wrong, I like Boston Rob because he's so much fun in Marquesas. He's entertaining when he's an underdog but a dick when he's in power (although there's no denying he pretty much was All-Stars after Richard left).
