Obvious and unabashed Chbeeb love.
Pono looked better with hair. **shakes fist**
The funny thing is I'm fairly certain Ryan is actually taller than Evan--at least that's how it looked to me in those side-by-side shots last
night.

I wish they still mixed up the pairs every week

A lot of people are suggesting Ryan choreographs this Season. If he did, he would be a Fox employee and not allowed to compete next season? Looks like there's a chance of Ryan being on Season 6 |

I think that whole thing was setup to pimp the dance company he works with. I'm assuming everyone was in on it. I might be wrong. |

Maybe Alex thought that if he made it to the finals, his company would be forced into letting him participate or be open to it since it's good publicity.
He seemed to genuinely want to try new stuff and his answer that he was "satisfied" with ballet didn't seem very happily spoken.

I'm hoping Asuka isn't paired with Tony. I think, since Tony is tall, they'd put him with a taller girl, like Caitlyn. But yeah, he's not even
that cute, so he really needs to impress me before I think he deserves to stay.
Asuka should get one of the smaller guys, like Evan. |

I like Brandon, but I thought Lil C's criticisms came across a lot better than Mia's. If a judge is not impressed by what they see, then they should
say so, but Mia's criticisms sounded like some deep-rooted shit for which she should consult a therapist. I hardly think Brandon was overpimped, because
if he was overpimped they would not have given Mia two opportunities to ooze her issues all over him.

I totally agree about Mia. She's a $%@$ and her criticisms of Brandon were very rude. If she doesn't think he's a good dancer or whatever but what
the fuck is she going on about, I hate what you bring to the table.
I literally hate what she brings to the table. Also I agree about Mary, thought that shit may have been scripted it does seem like she probably dislikes that $%@$ Mia. She's critical sometimes but nice and Mia is just so rude to people and acts like she's the best thing since sliced bread. MIA HATE! |

Shagnanigans wrote: Well I don't know about that, I'd say Evan is a pretty damn good dancer himself. Ryan just might seem like the better dancer cause he's older and far more experienced, but if you really looked at Mia's choreography, you can tell that Evan outdanced his brother in that. And I hear he's pretty versatile too. So I'd say it's a pretty close call. |

I'm most disappointed that it seems that again, there are no tappers in the finals.

Also, there was this mysterious blond ballet guy in Season 3 that made the top 20 that was also in a contract and I think Jesus took his spot. They didn't
even show him at all, but they showed a lot of Alex. I'm guessing it's to set Alex up for being on Season 6.

Tony took Tony's spot, unless you can show me another street dancer who deserved it more. If you're going to pick the top 20 by sheer dance talent,
it will end up all contemp/jazz with maybe a ballroom person or two. Tony and Phillip are the only self-taught dancers in the top 20, but they usually have
more. The hip hop dancing community did not represent this year -- I don't recall a single sick breaker in any of the auditions, just a bunch of popper
and lockers. Zero hip hop girls.
Okay, I'll cut the producers some slack -- there simply isn't enough time to track everyone, so of course it's natural that the ones with face time are more likely to make the cut. Still, what a waste of time and effort to build up completely non-extistent suspense. I must have missed them cutting Gaby, the arthritic contemporary dancer that they pushed through Vegas week. When they allow these dancers to fail ever upwards, it usually indicates they are in the top 20, like Tony the Popper who barely dances in his own style much less any other. But Gaby didn't make the cut -- why not have her stand with Asuka for the last spot instead of Anonymous Blondie? At least they would have enough face time to make it intersting. Phillip "Duckie" Chbeeb is the new Twitch -- built in fanbase, will survive early cuts with ease, and any girl paired up with him is a lock for the top 10. Hopefully, he will actually deliver in the performances instead of being the branding/marketing fraud that was Twitch. I dont' mind a little sizzle, but let's have some steak to back it up. A partial list of the top 20 Separated at Birth (with some reposts):

yeah, I didn't read through the whole thread.
So read my post as a concurrence of the Chbeeb/Ducky resemblance. |
