I don't see anything special about Reid.

He's cute and inoffensive and was shown in a lot of caps - as to make them think he makes it far.* That's how the FORTers always pick their favorites. The other's are too suave, work too much by their own admission, are just bartenders, etc on the nitpicking. Reid hasn't been shown enough to make anyone think he has issues yet.

I think Jillian will pick Reid or Jesse or someone we haven't heard too much about because that's how they edit this show now on. But I would be thrilled if Reid doesn't win (despite liking him) because I love when they tear the Bachelor(ette) down for making the "wrong" choice. The whole place goes apeshit.

*Apparently having a lot of pictures in the preview doesn't give too much away this season because based on their sleuthing, a ton of things were left out of the preview. They can't determine who exactly comprises the top 4 or 5 for sure yet.

Not feelin the Reid love at all. Actually the only guy I find attractive is Jake.

Cricket512, I am with you. Jake is not only good looking, he seems intelligent and nice. He is way out of her league. Reid really hasn't had enough camera time to warrant all this adulation. I have a feeling Fleiss and Company are setting up this "nice Jewish boy" to be the next bachelor.

I wandered over to FORT, saw these gems in the Reid thread, and got the heck out of there... These posters are beyond delusional.

Yup, and when my husband tells me that he loves me more than anything in the world......I'll be thinking of Reid LOL! I think I have heard Reid say that (I am one that thinks it is Reid's voice) more than I heard my own husband tell me that

He's only inoffensive because he hasn't been around enough to be offensive. Actually even in the short time he's been around he's annoyed me like when he did the lame joke of pretending to not want the rose when Jillian gave him one in the episode 1 rose ceremony.

I almost spat my drink all over my computer. This shit is getting insane.

As I've said before, I like Reid. Not because he might go far, and I definately don't want him to get with "Jilly" because then he'd be off the market, lol.

Totally missed the show this week. I guess my TiVo thought I had better things to watch.

I really thought the repelling off buildings date looked fun - sorry I missed it. I kinda like how the show is morphing into a cross between a dating show and fear factor. LOL.

Their shitlist is ever expanding to Wes, Jake and now Ed (because somebody has a cousin who has a friend who claims to be WesEd/Jake's girlfriend or some equally attenuated bullshit). Well I have a mother who has a hair stylist who occasionally had sex with a priest who heard a confession from an accountant who lives in Reid's building and heard from Reid's parrot that Reid is gay. I wonder if this story will make the rumor mill.

Not to say the above three don't have girlfriends, but these women are so gullible this season because they can't figure out much. Anyone can make up a story on the internet and they're believing just about every negative one except those involving Reid.

ETA: I clearly have issues as well. Must stop going to FORT.

Didn't anyone catch the scene at the party before the RC when Dave was walking into the house? If you watch carefully, there's a mexican woman standing in the doorway staring into the house. It was kinda weird & creepy.

The mexican woman was most likely an employee. The editing is really sloppy this season. I saw Ed actually eating. In the history of the show, that was the first time I've ever seen food at a rose ceremony. I was under the impression that all they did was drink.

With the exception of Jen Schefft (Andrew), the favorite has never won. The show is edited to show them in a favorable light, this way he/she can come back as the bachelor/ette. Then when they come back in the title role, we get to see them for who they really are. Bob, Jen, DeAnna and Jason come to mind.

We should pick someone other than Reid who is rumored to go far and start posting at FORT. Not in an antagonistic, fantard war way, but in a way that celebrates the guy and how fab their 'love story' is going to be. See if we can turn the tide of support a bit. Win some Reid fans over. It'd be like an experiment, Sucks style.

I'd pay good money to one of you to post that, um, let's see, Jesse or Tanner P's package is bigger than Reid's and post screen caps to back it up. I'd pay extra if you would register under the nic "bulge patrol."

Of course you'd get banned and the posts would be deleted, but it would be a hoot for a nanosecond.

Well I signed up because I couldn't deal with some of the craziness anymore and chose to call a few things out, such as

Why suddenly Ed was a really bad guy now that it's been shown that he's top 3 or possibly even 2 (knocking Reid out of that position)? There's this story about how Ed and Robbie would make drinks in the morning and Ed would wear cucumber masks while at the house that I thought was hilarious. Suddenly Ed is a raging alcoholic - not Robbie though since it's clear he leaves before Reid.

Also, last week, internet activity was the basis for explaining when Jesse got kicked off, when Ed left/returned (ultimately unfounded rumor) and why Reid is likely top 2 (he didn't resurface until late). But this week internet activity will not explain Reid's possible dismissal before the final 2.

That said, my one week foray and 4 posts onto that site are enough. I can't deal with the delusions anymore and will see if any of you are generous enough to bring the hilarity over.
