Octomom is right about one thing. Her show won't be about the kids. It will be all about her.
I won't watch that tripe. |

There's a big John & Kate article in our newspaper today. I live in Pennslylvania. The owner of a salon in that town says she's been getting
calls from as far away as Los Angeles asking if she or anyone at that salon are responsible for Kate's hairstyle. They are not and glad of it. She called
the bob "disconnected."

I've said it before and I'll say it again. These kids are the most well behaved children I've ever seen. Mom and Dad played a big part in this for
sure. I don't think they'll get back together so I really hope that they both keep on teaching their children well. I do personally think that they
should cut out the tv show and get on with their private lives.

I agree. The children really are well behaved, respectful and polite, which is something very rarely seen now. They had to have done some things right to get
them to act like that.

She said it was the latest style from the hair shows she attended and it was called the "Disconnect". Smooth and one length in the front and short and spiky in the back. But my one-length section wasn't nearly as overpowering. anyway, it was fun and I liked it on me and then we quickly outgrew it and moved along to something else. But it was in style for a brief time. |

How appropriate. Kate's pretty "disconnected", if you ask me.

I think I may not even continue to watch this season. I watched because at one time they loved eachother and though Kate was a nag and Jon was a wimp and they
fought they also actually worked through things together. I also loved the kids and all the fun they brought. (I still want to steal Alexis and Aiden!) I guess
I will wait until this season comes to an end and see what happens...I watched for fun and this is really no fun anymore.

More evidence for the PA Department of Labor.... the kids are unpaid workers in Emeril's kitchen! Green bean snapping slaves!!!

Wonder why they put the training wheels back on Joel's bike.
The kids got to eat their Emeril dinner on trays, not paper plates. I truly was impressed that the kids ate so well. Several of them finished everything on their plate. |

They eat everything on their plate because I think Kate underfeeds them overall. They seem to ALWAYS be hungry.

That was a nice episode. But you could feel the "Har-har!" in Jon/Kate while they were explaining the misfortunes of the other.

Isn't it more likely that they eat everything on their plate because Kate taught them to good little girls and boys who should eat what they're served? Or they eat everything on their plate 'cause the food tastes good? |

And she doesn't seem like the type who would let her kids fill up on junk food snacks in between meals either. Makes me wonder though, have they ever had McDonalds I wonder? Probably not organic enough for her. |

I actually don't mind Kate. but if you have watched all of the prior episodes, you will notice that she has a heavy "food police" factor in her.
When the kids do something wrong at the table, she actually takes their plate away and makes them go hungry. And I am not talking about something really
severely naughty, but I remember an episode where she doled out one small banana between all 6 of the kids, so they only got about a bite each. One of them
balked and wanted more and she just took the little piece away from that kid and that kid got nothing. That sort of thing. Just watch it. These kids are
ALWAYS hungry.
I have a grand niece who is slender and fit about a year older than the tups and she is not always begging for food like these kids are. She also eats what is put in front of her. I can't really explain it, but I really think these kids always seem to have hunger issues. Maybe it is just the shooting schedule so they can't snack as much, I don't know. |

If it was a banana, it was probably just a snack. No kid is going to starve from missing a snack.
Grasping... |

Better to be "food police" than turn the kids into a bunch of fatties like so many other parents.
