Can we just rename this thread, "Everybody Loves Kris", because it's absolutely true. Seriously, he has Adam talking about how attractive he is. Every damn person he works with seems to be in awe of him. All the radio DJs who interview him turn out to love him. I need to bottle this guys mojo because it really works.

For those wondering (because I was), Claude Kelly is responsible for the songs "Circus" and "My Life Would Suck Without You" and has worked with Akon, Brandy, Lady GaGa, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera and a slew of other pop artists (if Wikipedia is to be believed). Nothing I'd really say in Kris' style, but I'm sure whatever it is will work. We heard everything from Heartless to She Works Hard For The Money in Kris' style, I'm not too worried.

David Hodges (the other guy who worked with Kris) apparently helped pen Clarkson's "Because of You" and has worked with Archuleta, Daughtry, and others. Because Of You, while decidedly not Kris, definitely veers closer to something I could imagine from him.

I hope you weren't expecting a solely acoustic album (I know I wasn't), because here is what Kris had to say about his sound via Missy Schwartz of the wonderful EW team:

"It will be very similar to what you heard from me on the show -- definitely in the pop/rock genre." During my recent interview with Allen, he told me pretty much the same thing, though he also added, "The way I came across on the show is a guy and his guitar, but I want to come across as more the soft-rock kind of thing… hopefully something that not everyone has seen before. I think that some people will be very surprised by it -- certain songs, people will be like, 'Didn't expect that.' Just like the whole 'Heartless' thing -- people were not expecting me to do that song. And it worked out. So I think you'll see things like that. I think it's going to be very cool."

I am really laid back and kind of go-with-the-flow, but I will never do anything that I don't believe in. So if there's a song that they're trying to shoot at me and I'm like, ehhhh, then it probably won't happen. I think it would just be uncomfortable. You can't do something that you don't feel good about.

That makes me happy.
