The new format sucks ass. It was bad enough that it was a lame version of the The Soup, and that I ALWAYS fast-forwarded through the "sizzler" but
now it's not even DVRable. It has been removed from my list for all eternity.

I used to LOVE this show.
Then they changed it alot but I still kept watching it. They they realized that the show was popular and let it go to their heads. Then they ended up having every single fucking joke about penis. I finally gave it up and I'm glad I did now that they changed it to be a shitty version of The Soup. The Soup > all

What in the FUCK are these writers smoking?! Pencake just made me watch 10 minutes of this shitty show and I was literally pissed by the time I managed to steal the remote and change it. This has got to be THE worst clip show ever. They dropped the "various stars making witty remarks" format and now it's just that gap-toothed fuggo making TERRIBLE jokes. It was just sad. That fucking "The Dish" show on the Style channel with that fat girl who used to be on Boy Meets World is a million times funnier than this shitfest. I swear to God, he made a joke about a rich person building his house with caviar nails. Really? I was supposed to laugh at that? Fuck you, Best Week Ever. this used to be a dvr staple of mine. they kept retooling it and they have finally milked any funny out of it. i tried to watch it last night in desperation

Tompkins' to the title of the show -- is rumored to be out of a job after June 12, as New York mag's Vulture blog reports that VH1 is pulling the plug on the weekly pop culture commentary series. But VH1's official word to AOL TV: "'Best Week Ever' has gone on its scheduled production hiatus and will return in January 2010. Its companion piece 'Best Day Ever' which spoofs that day's pop culture news will return this fall with Paul F. Tompkins." Tompkins' fiancé, actress Janie Haddad, broke the news on her vlog on Friday that Tompkins and 'BWE' staffers had expected they would just go on summer hiatus as usual (as confirmed in a recent interview). But via Twitter on Friday, Tompkins added, "Honestly, no plan has been announced other than keeping us off til 2010. I have no idea what they're thinking ... they'll bring it back in 2010, but staff (including me) can't go that long without work. Maybe new cast?"
