So...I finally decided to apply for Survivor! I've wanted to play the game forever but wasn't sure about the whole aspect of it being televised but I finally decided what the hell, I can use the money when I win! Not to sound completely arrogant (even though I'm sure I will), but between the player I know I would be, and the application & video I made, I feel like I honestly have a very good shot at at least getting a callback interview. Here's the thing though...I finished the application and stuff like two or so months ago. and just took wayyyy too much time obsessing over it, and ended up not sending it out until like two weeks ago (sent it overnight....someone actually signed for it! Which I found kinda odd but kinda awesome). I haven't heard back from anyone so now it's just kicking in that they start production like...SOON! and I'm all in my head freaking out that I fucked myself over by waiting so long to send it in and maybe now it's too late....Plus all the rumors of S20 being an All-Star season and possibly the final season, I feel like being cast on Samoa might be my one and only chance. So my point (oh yeah I forgot I had one of those)...does anyone have any information or insight into the casting for this next season? I'm not sure of what's typical for casting time but from what I've heard, they usually start production on the fall seasons in late July/early August. From what I've heard, they couldn't find many people for this next season so they extended the typical deadlines. I've been reading things onlilne lately though (even though most of it could just be message board speculation) that they've already got a definitive cast and start filming like...now!
Thanks you guys, I'd reeeeeally appreciate any help or info I could get!
