wtf watch the episode again. It was all Leann's fault. All Ami did wrong was give in to them against her will because because her other 3 allies (Leann,
Julie, Twila) all apparently wanted Eliza gone.

Plus, she did have a soft spot for Chris after she heard him tell his Fiance that he was going home... As far as Eliza goes... that was her other mistake...(but created the best moment in survivor history) far from brilliant... And in Micro...forget about it!!! there is no crying on Survivor!!! I liked Ami but to tell the truth she doesn't deserve another shot on Survivor...

Um, Ami was immune. She could use her voice and power to convince people to waiver their stances.

Well, I don't think it's exactly a secret that Chris knew what he was doing when he told his fiancee that he was going home...

It wasn't just Leann. Julie wasn't going to vote Chris out. So that's 2 people. And then Scout and Twila had been against Eliza from the beginning
and trying to get her out, so there's 4 people right there. There was nothing Ami could do with 4 people wanting Eliza out with only 7 people left, so you
can't blame her for going along.

Then once the plan to vote me out was hatched, the old ladies sent Chris to talk to me and tell me the other 3 were going against me. It was actually brilliant. There are other behind the scenes things that occurred that led to the final 7 vote, but I can't discuss them. |

There are other behind the scenes things that occurred that led to the final 7 vote, but I can't discuss them.Because it would be giving away production secrets? Or because you don't want to spill dirt on your friends Leann and Julie? I always suspected certain girls were jealous that you won the family visit shot themselves in the foot. I've also heard the theory that some of the girls thought they needed to keep male muscle around for 3 more days to work around camp. |

That vote has always been one of my favorite in Survivor history and one of the most interesting, IMO. Is there anything else you could actually tell us about the whole F7 power shift? |

As the girls in Micronesia proved, that's completely irrelevant.Agreed that would be a dumb reason to keep Chris - and loved the scene where Parv climbs the coconut tree at the start of the Micronesia Finale. But didn't Scout have Leann and Julie to herself for 1-2 days while you and Ami went on reward with the guys at F8? Scout was doing all-out brainwashing on why Eliza should go next, and there was some stormy weather (with only the 4 weakest woman there to deal with it). |

craig wrote:Absolutely. That night that it rained when we were on our reward (and they imagined us with cushy beds and a huge feast -- neither of which we had) was a turning point. It was then that they started deciding who was "deserving" and Scout rammed it into their heads that I needed to go. |

Hey, this isn't Survivor Israel where the producers spend the whole season interfering and making sure somebody makes F3 and doesn't get voted out,
only for them to get completely owned when that person doesn't get a single vote at the end. At least....I think. I could obviously be wrong, since Eliza
knows what went on in Vanuatu.

Eliza, in retrospect, do you wish you had gone to Ami/Leann/Julie and told them you knew about the plan and tried to turn them against Twila/Scout/Chris?

JDeanUT wrote:Yes, absolutely. They probably would've voted with me to blindside Twila or Scout at that point if I had gone to them to tell them about the plan to get rid of Leann, BUT there's also a chance it could've gotten me voted out for playing both sides. Also, I think without winning final 4 immunity, I was pretty much screwed either way. There were tight threesomes on each side that I was not a part of. Leann wouldn't have gone against Ami or Julie. Ami would never have gone against Leann. Julie wouldn't have either. So my only chance would have been to try to get Ami to tie the vote at final 4 against Julie if Leann and Julie were voting for me, but I don't know if she would have. Chris could have also continued to win immunity and then I would've been out at 6 or 5 if the girls brought back in Twila or Scout. I'm not sorry I played the game the way I did, but Ami still gives me a hard time for not coming to her before that vote... |
