Good point about Chloe. Presumably she would have access to Cal's drugs/tranquilizers to subdue Ben and Beth (so that no one heard her in the kitchen).

How much do you want to bet the police aren't really coming to the island How were the state police even told to come? Aren't the cell phone's blocked and the telephone wires cut and the shortwave busted? ------------------- Also, in regard to the Trish/Henry/Abby/Jimmy quadrangle -- might have something to do with "what happened in college" when Trish & Henry broke up and she dated Hunter.Does anyone here have a theory about the intersection of Harper's Island and Harper's Globe (both flashing back to things that happened in college)? The killer was set off by Abby returning. Did Robin Matthews and Abby Mills both just coincidentally come back to the island at the same time and the killer had TWO vendettas for the price of one? If you buy the premise that both the HG and HI universe are the same universe, and the killer is the same, and we are encouraged to go with that by the producers, then the killer is having a very busy evening going back and forth. "I've killed Beth, now I've got to go kill Sparky. I need to upload this video to Harper's Globe then rig the boat to explode... Now that I've booby trapped Katherine in the chair, I can go drown Brent in the pool. Ooh, here's some random woman in front of Brent's house I can kill. Oops, time to upload another video... Clearly this is a killer that can multi-task! (and carry out two vendettas at the same time)!

wedding invites go out one month in advance, plenty of time for Cloe to do what needed to be done
before everyone arrived.
in regards to being able to shoot the spear, maybe cal did it? or she's freakishly strong (she is tall and played a man on an episode of house). also...someone mentioned she had an alibi for one of the murders. all of hers have been with cal disappearing to have sex. maaaaybe they're lying?? |

Good point! But, I think the call was made before the killer came into the jail, shot the deputy, and destroyed the radio. I think the sheriff said something about the state police would pick up J.D. in the morning. I'll have to check my notes. |

Being sniped at could be somebody who knows who the killer is. My guess is Nikki will be doing hte shooting at the group. They showed the crosshairs on Chloe
and then a scene with a gun being fired.
My guess. . . .Sherieff missing. . . .group tries to escape. . . .Jimmy's boat explodes. . .debris kills Shane (wood gets pierced through him). . .Abby screams everyone looks terrified. . . .Nikki on roof and tries to shoot at the "killer" in the group. She misses and they all scatter. . . .Danny/Maggie is alone and gets killed. . . .more running around alone. . .2 people find each other and decide to go back to the Inn. . . . Nikki walks around with the gun somebody kills her "snaps" her neck. . ..Abby gets to Inn her father is inside he's on a trap tells Abby to leave she won't, Sherieff can't hold on much longer and lets go some device goes off. . .Sherieff dies. . .device heads to Abby where Jimmy (who jumped off boat) saves her. Episode 10 deaths - Shane, Nikki, Maggie/Danny and Sherieff |

My opinion on the deaths next Episode.
Shea and Madison: Their story is complete, they will be reunited, and Jimmy will offer to take them off the island first while the others get a later boat. The boat explodes killing them, and throwing Jimmy into the water. That would also be an off screen death for Madison. Sheriff: He will be the End of Episode kill, Abby will find him, he will tell her, he is, or is not her father, and then get killed from the trap. |

As far as Nikki being a suspect, since the tunnels were built during prohibition, they probably go to the Cannery as well, the bar that's been around for
decades.
Nikki could go through the tunnels from the Cannery directly to the Candlewick and who knows where else. I don't think Nikki is the killer since she was surprised by Kelly's hanging, but she is the only one other than Robin Matthews who is still alive that we can socially network with. She's in both universes. If she's not the killer, does she even know if anyone died? Why have her on the bingo card with such a small role thus far unless it picks up soon. |

I can't find the page where someone (and I would like to give you credit) wrote out the contents of a few pages of Wakefield's diary. If I recall
correctly, he said that his main mission was to make the sheriff suffer as he had suffered and that he (Wakefield) was not guilty of what he was accused of.
(Unless this diary is SOLELY about the prison time that he did for the felony that goes unmentioned on Harper's Globe.)
Kelly said that she thought she had seen Wakefield several times. Psychic said to Abby that the person who betrayed her (dad/sheriff) would save her. The "betrayal" could be covering up Wakefield's non-death. I know, I know: Wakefield is not on the bingo card. One flashback at the beginning of this week's episode clearly showed Wakefield's face -- excellent Canadian actor, by the way. Additional random thought: Where is the doctor? Is that town somewhere other than where Cal/Chloe were? Killer's diary on Harper's Globe: There goes the "Brent" theory that I had with Ben/Brent. Total bummer for me. |

Next episode: I think Shane's neck is "snapped". He foreshadowed it in Episode 1, playing with the chord, then Henry almost choked him in this
episode. Someone dies in the boat explosion. Maybe there is a third death too.
And what happened to sweet old Julia anyway (the old lady Jimmy helps)? Did she leave the island with the departing guests or is she obliviously in her cottage watching her Golden Girls marathon without the slightest clue that people are being murdered all over the place? |

What she told Abby was just as convincing as what she told the sheriff when she lied for her dad; we know that she's been running around the inn unseen and that somehow she found Maggie's keys to unlock JD from the freezer. I wouldn't be surprised if Maggie just gave them to her. She's still my top suspect. While the tunnels were small, they weren't so small that Danny couldn't crawl through them, and he's a big guy. Abby didn't have any more luck getting through the tunnel than Danny did, so unless there's an easier way to stuff Beth's body in there, I still think Maggie could have crawled through. As for the connection to Harper's Globe - I'm assuming that the people in the car with Robin all died, and one of them is connected to the killer. Be it Henry's friend, Maggie's child, Chloe's sister, etc. I don't know, but whoever it is ended up with the videotapes, watched them, blamed Robin, and is taking revenge on her, too. By the way, are we sure that Wakefield isn't a MacGuffin? |
