Does anyone know where you can order all of the Buffy comics that have come out? I procrastinated on getting them

Has anyone been reading these? I finally caught up yesterday. I'd rather have comic Buffy than no Buffy at all, but I guess I don't take to the format
easily. Anyone?

Yeah I've been picking it up monthly. I few OK issues but most I've enjoyed a lot. It helps that the show's writers are writing the majority of the
issues.

I've recently taken a liking to them, but I don't wanna buy the comics by themselves. I buy the packs, like the ones that are collated together instead
of one by one. I also bought the "Tales of the Slayers" one today.

I'm not a comic book guy.
I have issues 1 -6 in my possession but for some reason have not wanted to read them. Maybe I prefer to remember the Scoobies as they were when Sunnydale cratered. How many issues are out there now, and are they in fact under Joss's vision? Is it better to buy the bound booklets off of Amazon? Plus I hear Dark Horse is doing the same treatment for Angel -- is that series any good? |

Go to Amazon - you can buy the collections about every six months or so, and if you get them from a used seller they are only about 6 bucks or so. They just
released collection 6.

Piranhahaha wrote:It's Joss and it's good. I bought the first dozen or so issues of the comic, but found it frustratingly slow. Each comic is equivalent to about 10 minutes of a TV episode -- and each 4 issue arc is equivalent to a one hour TV show -- so reading the comics is like seeing 10 minutes of a Buffy episode and then having to wait a month for the next 10 minutes. Grrrr! Aaaargh! Now I've switched to waiting for the 4-issue bound books so I can read one story in full, and I find it much more enjoyable. I've only read part of the Angel comic, but it was also good. I've only found these expensive leather-bound comic collections, though, and won't spend the money for them. If they come out with paperbound versions, I'll read it. |

I don't like comic books but I've immensely enjoyed the comic series. It definitely has the Buffy flavor. I just buy the bound books which I've
gotten all. Waiting on the 6th one that should come out early next year. I love reading it. And plus they've gotten other famous comic book/graphic novel
artists and writers so it's nice to see a different perspective while still keeping the Buffy in it.

Yeah it's very good. Joss runs it like he did the show as an exec Producer of sorts who occasionally writes an issue. It's mostly the series writers
who write the arcs too. Jane Espenson is just finishing up the last arc right now. The next one will finally reveal who Twilight is.

I've been wondering who Twilight is for a long time. Glad it's going to finally be revealed.
