Rene tried to murder is sister and DID murder his Gran. But I did find something charming about Jasons dumbness in season 1 but I think this whole Fellowship of the Sun thing is just going to annoy me. I don't mind Sookie saying what she thinks and is feeling to Bill but it just seems like every scene they have together she is chastizing him for something and it's too much and I don't think she's a great female role model she's just slightly better than Twilights Bella. And I did have a bit of a problem with her in this first episode telling Bill off for the things he did and then jumping into bed with him just because he said he loves her. He murdered her uncle and she didn't like that even though the guy was a creep and he lied to her about Jessica to 'protect' her and she was mad about that but then he simply says I did it because I love you and she is all awwwwww, I love you too lets have sex??? Next thing you know he'll be punching her in the face but as long as he says he loves her she'll be okay with it. (Okay, maybe that's a bit extreme).

Grey's Anatomy is a perfect example. But, those central figures need to mesh well with the supporting players to balance it and I think Sookie/Bill do that. Hell Seinfeld was the most boring of his group amongst Elaine, Kramer and George but without Seinfeld those three would not even be involved with each other. We need Sookie for her ties and Bill for his ties or else there doesn't appear to be any melding for the others. I didn't read the books either and Bill is not someone I dig physically and Anna Paquin is okay but it's their chemistry that has to work not if I find either of them hot. They have great chemistry together, I believe their feelings for each other.

I don't partic think Bill and Sookie are so interesting together, but doesn't it always seem like that happens with the central couple of most shows?
