I feel like predicting the top 10 (with future revisions).
Breakin' it down. Guys who don't do much for me but have enough fanbase and/or jidge support to carry them through: Evan Brandon Philip OMG so cute (and likable enough) to be voted in esp. by the tweens: Jonathan or Jason Ade Now for the Gurls: TCO Factor coupled with being Unca's idea of a hot-young-blonde-thang: Kayla She probably ain't gon' nowhere too soon mostly because of her partner: Randi Jeanine Janette Naughty Ballerina The ones with no comment are included because I actually just like them for their dance performances so far and think they'll keep doing solid enough work to earn their way into the top 10. I think the ones I haven't mentioned are dead dancers walking. Though Pono might hang in there for a week or two as long as he doesn't give TPTB reason to think he could cause Kayla to wind up back in the bottom 3.

I really liked Pono during the auditions and loved him in the Robson routine last week. The Mark connection helped as well. But in the non dance footage, he
comes across as pretty unlikable and his work this week wasn't up to par. I'm now neutral on him--if he can dance like he did last week, I'll like
him again, despite what seems to be an annoying personality. But I suspect that rather than being this year's Mark, he's going to be this year's
Thayne, just not as likable.

You also have to count in who has the routines that they're going to want on the tour. No one that has a wonderful memorable dance will be cut before the
top twelve or they wouldn't be able to do the dances on the tour.

I like Evan and his brother a lot, but I'm getting really worried about overpimping backfiring. Personally, I love their stuff and I geeked out over seeing
Ryan's new audition ahead of time. I like to think that most of the viewing audience aren't as cynical as you guys.

I thought that as long as A/V were safe, I would be happy tonight. I was even starting to get excited that Kupono might leave. But now I'm just mad. The
judges got it right last week, and now Nigel and Lil C are back to their screwy ways.
I wonder if they'll put Max on the tour. They put Jesus on, and he only stayed one more week. Plus they need him, because he did two great routines with Kayla, and he would be useful in ballroom routines as an alternate (Jonathan would not be a good substitute). Actually, that also pisses me off; how on Earth is Jonathan the last remaining male "ballroom" dancer? If I were Max, I'd be crushed that he outlasted me. |

Yeah I think this is Melissa's comp to loseNah, I think she's too old to pick up the essential teen vote. This is the favourite dancer and while technically she might be the best female dancer I doubt she'll win. I could see her being out early once the Top 10 starts and it is only up to America, not the judges. I think it's a girl's season but I see it being Kayla's or someone like that. |
