I don't even know why I continue to watch this mess of a show. Nancy needs to die already, as does her "Mayor of Mexico" baby daddy (he is good
looking, but . . . I . . . hate . . . the way . . . he . . . talks). At this point, this season should be the last and it should end with:

I'm actually liking season 5 so far ... wasn't a huge fan of season 4, but i like how this season is going. I love Nancy's sister. I hope she
sticks around. Enjoyed seeing officer Till back, even though I hated him before ... I think it'll bring an interesting dynamic. Maybe he'll end up
killing Esteban?
This past episode was my favourite of the season so far ... but that isn't saying much, didn't really like the premiere, so it was really only in competition with the last episode. Agreed on more Silas, let's see his ass again. Oh. And his snaggletooth is gone, and I'm happy that Sucio commented on how nice his new smile is. |

Horrible episode, but glad Celia is back next week with Nancy. I hope she gives her a lot of shit. Till could possibly want revenge on Nancy too for the murder
of his gay lothario, even though it wasn't Nancy who outright killed him. And I really don't see this baby coming to term. Nancy is such a clueless
bitch.

So they've decided just to outright adress the shit we've been saying about Nancy by having the characters say it themselves -- but it's still the
same old shit. Her family still loves her little antics, despite that she puts them in mortal danger constantly. The mayor still lover her little smile, tho
she totally ratted him out and seems to be trying to miscarry. Ol' Andy still lover her to pieces, despite that she has given him nothing but insult for
seasons. And Celia can't escape her either -- why exactly? Ugh. I love the show, but Nancy has become a HUGE problem.

Just remember the title of the show--"Weeds"--being the extremely clever little wordsmith that Jenji Kohan is, I'm sure she's referring to
all the characters on the show, too. They're all kind of reprehensible miscreants that we wouldn't really want to be around, but we enjoy watching icky
things happen to them.

Yeah, I get the symbolism -- but it doesn't hold water. Of course I like watching people do bad things and have bad things happen to them -- that's the
nature of episodic television. But for several seasons the only person I'm NOT rooting for is Nancy, because everyone else's problems are usually her
fault.

Well I don't want the show to be canceled. I like the season. I laughed a bunch of times in the ep last night. Looking forward to the next episode.
I love the Andy and Nancy dynamic. I love that Shane has gone to the dark side. I love Andy (always). I love that Silas is starting a medical marijuana clinic! Esteban does get on my nerves but I am sure he isn't long term. Interested to see what Alanis will bring to the show. |
