Anyways, I know Kate was mean/bitchy/cruel most of the time, but couldn't Jon talk her out of it? For 10 years, he had to deal with that and he couldn't say anything? He couldn't say stop, or to control herself? I find that really hard to believe. It's not difficult to talk to your wife, or ex-wife now.
But everyone has to admit that both of them have had a part in their demise. Maybe they weren't the right couple to get married because they met as two completely different people. I just watched the episode which showed them going to Disneyland for their first Honeymoon and Kate was like an angel. I really think this strain was caused by the kids themselves, and both weren't ready to have that many kids. They just weren't. That changed their personalities to what we have now. It goes to show you that you should be careful when getting pregnant like the way Kate did and be prepared to deal with a lot of kids. Sometimes you have to take responsibility for your kids and take care of them.
4 Hours away is not close at all. It's really not. Would people enjoy riding on a train for 4 hours ever so days just to see your kids and go back. That constant forward and backwards with waste a lot of time so I can see Jon visiting them one day every week at most. He'll def. start to lose interest in visiting and will become the parent that ran away. Why couldn't have Jon lived in a big City in their own state, or near their city? Well, until we see Jon at those NYC parties, I'll just give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he just wants to get a breath of air.
