One of These Nights, purely for Don Henley's falsetto at the end.

Reading through this thread raises my awareness that the Eagles really are much shittier than I originally thought.

"Take it to the Limit" is my favorite song about calculus.

Linda rondstadt, while a great singer, can never be considered a great artsy because she did not write her own material.
Did you read that in my Patrick bateman voice? |

The Eagles are good at producing songs that create certain moods and mental images in the listeners' minds. A good example is "Hotel California".
The lyrics may be literal nonsense, but it's all about the mood and mental images.

What a fuckng poor excuse for a character nic. Clue phone is ringing. Oops you have a voicemail:
please note that a smart person using a ghost to sound dumb can work but a dumb person pretending to be smart will NEVER work. It's like a transexual (female to male) trying to get his partner pregnant. You just don't have the equipment. |

Come on, half of those songs are pretty good. Hotel California! Hotel California! Maybe you're just not a fan of slow rock.

I mean, if you want to listen to slow rock with precision guitar melodies, who are you going to listen to? And don't say Pink Floyd. That is such a
cop-out!

Don Felder's underrated. Hotel California and One of these Nights have a couple of the tastiest solos in 70s rock. He was great at creating catchy guitar
parts (yeah, I know Joe Walsh played half of the HC solo too).
