There is really nothing to say. I can't stand up and cheer for any of it. I find myself looking forward to elimination night just because I want one (all) of these shitastic dancers to leave. Still think that Philip is way out of his element with all of these highly trained dancers, but that he is doing a fantastic job given where he has come from. Dancing to construction beats in his bedroom to the rest who all started taking dance when their parents put them in ballet/tap/jazz when they were in kindergarten. Go Phillip!

The rest are either just sort of impressive, meh or blech. I think Evan has the whole package, which makes me feel a bit sorry for anyone who gets paired up with him. Particularly in Randi's case last night. The routine was supposed to be all about Randi's ass, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Evan the whole time. His presence is just too damn big for that kind of routine. The focus needed to be on Evan's ass - not Randi's. As for Brandon, he's probably got the best technique out of the guys and he can truly pull off any style. While he does somewhat seem a bit forced at times, he always gets an A for effort. If there is any justice in this world, Brandon and Evan will be the top 2 guys. As for the girls? Who knows, and who really cares.

If he can come close to pulling that off I will be happy to see him progress. I think Ricky is the talented performer of those siblings. Evan probably has more technique. Randi moved up the ranks in my eyes, after last nights show. I think the females rankings are: Janette- she has performed with max effort and enthusiasm! Kayla Jeanine Randi ...the rest.

That's what I meant, Evan's got the presence and energy to draw you in even if his technique isn't perfect. Plus he's always got the character down right, which is something a lot of contestants seem to struggle with. I couldn't care less about perfect technique as long as the dancers can entertain me and fully keep my interest.

I can't spell the names by the way Jonatha/on Karla - Karla I thought was really really good, him not so much. The dance got boring for me and it did look like they were ad libbing on some stuff instead of a memorized routine. Meh on the whole dance. Vitole/Asuka - I like Heartbreaker, I don't like Heartbreaker for a dance. The music sounded too fast for the routine and I was telling them "catch up damnit, the song is ahead of you" It was good, not great. The lift was nice. Not sure it was as great as Nigel made it out to be Melissia/Ade - One of the best. Melissia - hawt! Her body is amazing. That bend turn she did was gorgeous. He is a rock. I think they are a really good pair and that routine was one of my favorites - excellent chemistry. Jeanette/Brandon - Definitely entertaining but I got bored with this later also. I know they were dressed for their character but his outfit just wasn't doing it for me, it was so not relating to hers and the chair that to me, he was dancing another routine than her. He could have worn a gangster looking street dark outfit :shrug. Nothing wrong with it but it didn't blow me away C/Kupo - I love these dances so I am bias. The flowy dresses and the lighting and the lifts and all that stuff is something I enjoy all the time so that alone had me liking this. They were both solid, the pair worked out and didn't find anything wrong Randy/Evan - One of my favorites of the night also,. These two not only danced well, they performed well. I think they have a really good chemistry on stage and both of them equally did their moves really really well. That dance did look effortless, they made everything look really easy, I thought it was one of the best of the night. Jason/Ca - Like Melissa, I think Caitlin has beautiful lines. I wasn't crazy about this dance, it wasn't horrible but I have seen better. The music and costumes were more powerful than their dancing so I'd have to say I remember it more b/c of that than the actual people dancing. They did their characterization really strong, nothing to jump up and down over but it was solid. Phillip and Jeanine - I think Jeanine is a doll and one of those who probably will be overlooked which is a shame. Again, I do NOT like that Broadway style but this wasn't half bad. Actually I think Phillip did a reasonable job and Jeanine was very, very good. Definitely not the best but not the worst at all. Best performances of the night - Melissia/Ade and Randy/Evan well above the rest. Bottom - Jonathan/Karla, V/Asuka and a toss up on the last couple.

The entire cast that is left needs to step up their game. I would say that the only people I feel that are up to par competition-wise are Melissa, Janette, and Kayla, but that's about it. The people who are rising, but need to do so faster are Brandon, Ade, Jeanine, Evan, and Randi. Jason and Kupono need huuuuuge boosts, but I do believe that they can get there. Phillip falls within the category of very skilled at what he does, but is out of his league. Everyone else? Pack it IN. In short... Up to Competition Par: Melissa Janette Kayla Getting There, but needs to sharpen up faster: Brandon Ade Jeanine Randi Evan Has some potential, but needs almost a miraculous turnaround: Jason Kupono Karla Vitiligo Skilled at what they do, but out of their league competition-wise: Phillip Lost Causes: Caitlin Jonathan Asuka
