Fast National ratings for Wednesday, June 24, 2009
"America's Got Talent" put up more solid ratings Wednesday, but FOX was able to sneak into the top spot of the night's rankings. Both FOX and NBC averaged a 4.6 rating/8 share in households, but FOX brought in more total viewers: 7.5 million to 7.4 million for NBC. CBS, 4.3/8, came in third. ABC finished fourth at 3.2/6, and The CW trailed with a 0.7/1. FOX had a little bigger lead in the adults 18-49 demographic, scoring a 2.8 rating to beat NBC's 2.2. ABC's 1.8 was good for third, followed by CBS at 1.5 and The CW at 0.5. "So You Think You Can Dance," 4.6/9, led the 8 p.m. hour in households for FOX, but ABC had more viewers with "Wipeout," 4.3/8. Reruns of "Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" averaged 3.0/6 for CBS, topping the 2.8/5 for the finale of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" on NBC. The CW aired an "America's Next Top Model" repeat. NBC took the lead at 9 with "America's Got Talent," 6.1/10. CBS' "Criminal Minds" rerun was second in households (4.9/8), but "So You Think You Can Dance" (4.7/8) snagged more viewers for FOX. "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" mustered only a 2.3/4 for ABC, but that was more than enough to beat The CW's "Hitched or Ditched" encore. The "Got Talent" lead-in helped NBC's new drama "The Philanthropist," 4.8/8, get off to a decent start at 10, winning the hour in viewers and adults 18-49 despite a slightly higher household number for "CSI: NY," 4.9/8, on CBS. An ABC News special with President Obama drew a 3.1/6. |

This epi has so much random ownage. ETA: LDog, lover boy from season one and Forrest Gump completed them too. I think someone else did in Season 1, also. Still, that black chick from season 1 is still the only one to beat the punchy wall. |
