Notice in that dance, although Will was a strong and supportive partner, he was clearly visible (even if his personality bugged me so). Compare that to Ade, who basically HID behind Melissa, under Melissa, and to the side of her as well. There was no excuse for Ade hiding and lumbering so clubfootedly.....neither was there an excuse for Melissa, who came off rather clodden and gravatational in those pointe shoes. She had NO feeling of weightlessness in her body as a ballet dancer would. She was more concerned with keeping that Grinchy granny Polident grin plastered on her face than her actual movements.
