I like that quite a few of the HGs got on the show from answering Craigslist ads -- I'm glad they are not all the types w/ agents and whatnot.
I also like that a lot of them are fans of the show -- although this could prove to be disappointing - as we've already seen from the Diane interviews, people who call themselves a "huge fan" often have an odd definition for that. Ronnie seems the most genuine fan, although I don't know that it will help him, and might hurt him (frankly, I'm worried about that guy already; he said he is a cryer and he's such a sweet nerdy guy, I don't know how he is going to hold up in there). I did like his strategy for not getting voted out first, though; being pleasantly social, learning a lot about other people, so at least nobody has the lame "I just didn't get to know you as well as the other people" excuse. Re: Jordan -- I give her credit for at least watching a few seasons as soon as she knew she would be on the show. She went to the trouble of borrowing her friend's laptop and figgerin' out the interwebs enough to do that, didn't wait for sequester. I don't understand her sitch at all either though; she said she flaked on the first interview, yet they still begged her to come to another one - then all of a sudden she's got a new set of boobs? CBS must have wanted her BAD, so I'm guessing she is a hot mess of a disaster. I'm optimistic for this season!! |
