Olmec Donald wrote: That was exactly what I was getting at. This was an even money decision on all counts. Since he made at least four other Galu happy with the bedding, that puts him in a strong political position. Shelter or alliances? Function or fealty? Surviving the rainstorm or surviving their first Tribal Council (note I said theirs, not the Foa Foa)? (Oh, and the bedding will dry out.) Judging from the reactions of those very women, especially Yasmin, I'd say Russell understood the political aspects of his decision. |

This threads needs Russell S. failing to drink water (because if Mike Skupin's on this list, Russell must be), Russell H. throwing out the water, Erik and
John for their dumb plan and the producers for making the HII too easy to find. None of it will happen though, since AnomyBC boardicided long ago.

Alex telling Rob about his endgame plans is way too low.
Fang voting out Randy over Bob shouldn't be on this list at all. Bob wasn't remotely a threat at the time. |

Is it too early to add Galu booting Erik yet?
So far, all of the exit interviews are basically "uh, yeah, well, dissemble." |

Good. This list needs updating with Tocantins and Samoa.
Also, there's now a 100K size limit for avatars. |

Tocantins:
- Candace lobbies to have Coach voted out after they argue about Coach's (questionnable) cooking methods, alienating herself from her tribe. (Hadn't she done that she would have been F6 for sure) - Brendan and Sierra allow themselves to be caught by Debbie while digging for the HII. - Debbie believes Brendan and Sierra's lie about digging a Firepit (while they were actually digging for a HII) - Sandy fails to figure out what a "pace" is. - Coach burns Timbira's beans - Coach adopts his "Dragon Slayer" act, alienating Taj, a crucial jury vote. - Coach insists to vote out Brendan and Sierra before JT and Stephen, thus allowing Timbira to be pecked off one by one - Taj declares at the F4 she wants to step down at F3, granting the win to JT. (which prompts Stephen to vote her out) - Coach creates a Warrior alliance, consisting of himself and the four biggest threats to win the game. - Jalapao boots Spencer before Taj or Sydney Samoa: - Foa Foa votes Mick as their leader over Russell - Marisa confronts Russell Hantz about his gameplay. - Betsy reveals to Russell Hantz she doesn't trust him. - Liz confronts Russell Hantz about the HII - Russell Hantz sabotages Foa Foa. - Foa Foa votes out Marisa before Ashley or Mike - Ben deliberately tackles Russell Swan, causing FF to lose the challenge - Ben starts chopping Wood in the middle of the Night, awakening and annoying his Tribemates - Ben and Yasmin argue on Foa Foa beach. - Ben alienates himself from FF, and STILL remains very confident about his chances to win the game! - Yasmin's "Taking Candy from a Baby" speech. - Shambo somehow manages to destroy Galu's Fishing gear. - Shambo shares the clues to the HII with Erik, John and the whole of FF, for no apparent reason - Russell Swan chooses the pillows and the blankets over the tarp. - Laura, Russell Swan and Dave successfully alienate Shambo - Galu eliminates Yasmin before Monica - John wants to vote out Monica, the most harmless Galu, at F12, for some unknown reason. - Galu votes out Erik before Jaison - Russell Hantz decides to show Laura and Monica his HII - Galu decides to vote out Russell H at F11, despite the HUGE chance of him having a HII. - John flips at F10, and votes out Luara - Dave and Brett decide to burn John at F9, in order to flip Jaison at F8 - Shambo's "We voted Dave off" Dream - Monica threatens Russell H with Jury votes |

For me a classic and stupid moment, caused through miscommunication, was when Mike Skupin woke up early and cooked all of his tribe's rice without talking
to the tribe and it turned out to be terrible.
John almost catching Erik with the hidden immunity idol before rolling over and going back to sleep, as well as walking past while Russell was looking under the bridge at Galu for the idol was funny as well. Special mention to Butch Lockley for letting the Jacare camp burn. |

Good Work. Personally, I can think of another thing you could add:
Dave, Monica and Brett vote John out at the F9, hoping this will cause Jaison to flip. (taken from Dave's post game Interview) A very stupid move. If they didn't make it, there would be a 4-4-1 tie between John and Mick. Shambo, the only person who hadn't voted with either foursome (again!), would have eliminated Mick instead of John, as she and John were very close. (while she and Mick had no bond whatsoever) This would have been Galu's only chance to regain their numbers after the incredibly stupid decisions to boot Erik and Laura. In addition, Dave, Brett and Monica's plan was foiled as Jaison didn't flip at F8, and Dave was unanimously voted out as a result. Marisa telling Russell she doesn't trust him, could also be a contender imo. Otherwise, I think you have pretty much added everything worthy to add (although I think Russell Sabotaging Foa Foa should be a bit higher) |

I should probably just read the interview, but why did they think voting out John would cause Jaison to flip?

32. Jason Siska somehow believes that a wooden stick with a face carved on it is an immunity idol and appears totally dumbfounded when Eliza
suggests that it's "just a stick".

Dave Ball: I didn't think Russell saved me the first time. Brett's and my plan was to throw John under the bus so we could get Jaison to flip. ET: Shambo really wanted you gone. The way I saw it on TV, Russell organized John's demise and risked Shambo's wrath. Dave Ball: I didn't see last week's episode, but I recall living through it. Brett is a good talker and I am a good talker. Brett convinced Russell that John was a bigger threat than me, which was laughably hilarious rather than laughably saddening, or some other mixed metaphor. We sacrificed John to gain a measure of trust from Jaison, who we then hoped would flip, which has not yet happened. TVGuide.com: Did you have any hope Jaison would flip? John had also mentioned last week that he almost got Jaison to flip, so why was Jaison the person who seemed most likely to switch? Dave: Yes, because Jaison spent $500 on an advantage [in last week's auction] and that would seem to indicate that he feels weak in their tribe. If he felt he was solid, he wouldn't have spent his money on it. Unless he was an idiot who has never seen the show before and didn't know how to play the game, which actually is also the case. We figured Jaison was the low man on the pole so we figured he was the one we could get to flip. We offered final three, me, Jaison and Brett. We thought he would take it too. I told him, "Against Russell, you're never going to win." Those guys [Mick and Jaison] were not playing to win. It never occurred to them that Jaison bid to ensure a Galu - specifically John - would not win immunity. John refused to pick purple rock thinking he had plans to work with Jaison down the road but apparently did not tell Jaison this was the correct plan because Jaison clearly didn't know about the so-called plan.

I don't think John voting out Laura was that stupid. Given that Mick was immune, there was only a 3/7 chance of a Foa Foa/Shambo going home. There's a
1/7 chance he goes home, and a 3/7 chance of another Galu going home. Obviously it turned out bad for him, but his logic wasn't totally off base.
