It was actually fun in the first half of the second episode watching while knowing that Henry was the killer. You knew Sully was a dead man walking, but it added an interesting element. Trish and Sully's deaths, while they sucked, were done well. PS: Did we know Sully and Trish dated (when Henry killed Sully, he said Sully never should've dumped Trish)? I thought the finale was turning around when Shea was told everyone else was dead. I'm actually glad Shea and Madison survived. You need some non-main characters to survive, and I don't mind it being them. Henry being the one to kill Wakefield was interesting. I'll give points for that. The video montage at the end was nice.

This will be longer than the good section. Let's start with Henry. Boo to the groom being the killer and having everyone realize it so early on. And, really, did they have to so blatantly rip off the concept of the Scream Trilogy?

Not having everyone else die. I thought that after Shea was told no one else survived, they were going to show how everyone died. I think that would've actually been an awesome fucking ending. Shea and Madison make it off, going against the plan, and everyone else goes out in a bloodbath.

This is my biggest gripe coming up. There was virtually no explanation of anything. I actually get Henry's motive; wanting to be alone on the island with Abby. Demented for sure, but fit in with where things were going. If Wakefield just wanted Abby dead, why all the shenanigans? Couldn't he have killed her elsewhere or at any point? I get that maybe he was letting Henry kill her, but he didn't have to wait until everyone else was dead, did he? Once Abby was dead, they could've just killed everyone else and then set it up to look like they died, like Henry had planned. Yes, it would've been fucked up because Henry never planned on having Abby die, but it's one of those "just to fit the plot" things.

And, what, Henry only did 3 killings before offing Trish and Sully (The Reverend, Richard, and Katherine)? So everything really was just fucking random. That, I think, pisses me off more than anything else. "I wanted you alone" is such a fucking cop-out as to why/how everyone died. I also hate the fact when in horror movies, the characters that were never revealed publicly to be dead (Cousin Ben, Lucy, Malcolm, etc) are never revealed to be dead. Obviously, when Henry was talking, Abby gets the picture, but it's still stupid. And, I feel really bad for Cousin Ben. No one even knows he made it to the boat. Wasn't there supposed to be an explanation involving the oxygen tanks? I hope there's more explanation on the DVDs. I really hope that there's an extended version of the montage at the end. Hello, wither BethGoddess?

I admit that I would've found fault with any ending. But, really, I think they went too cliche. Sometimes, cliche is nice. In a world when everyone is expecting shocking twists to come at the end, the obvious can work out if done right. I don't think this was necessarily done right.

At least it wasn't motherfucking Booth.
