It looks like we have a little off time before our next episode. How will we ever survive the week hiatus? So I decided to put together a little tribute to the star of Harper's Island. Without further delay, I give you Beth's top 10 greatest moments! Alway quick with a line, Beth has become the break-out star of the pre-Summer hit: Harper's Island. This witty beauty is obviously the most lovable charater, and will not be "The Single Girl" for long. Look out guys in the Northwest region, Beth is here to party!



I will put the top 10 in spoiler brackets to build anticipation....

Number 10

Lucy: "Abby seems like a nice girl."
Beth: "Yeah!"

Episode 1

Every top 10 has to start somewhere. So what if Beth may not be the focus of the scene. So she only has one line. So her face is blurred so we can stare at Trish some more. "Yeah" is still a pivotal line in the episode. Why? Because if Beth thinks Abby is a nice girl, then the audience will think Abby is a nice girl. Without Beth's approval, Abby would probably be just another character lost in the cast.

Beth: "Drink!"

Episode 4

You may have thought Beth had no lines in episode 4, but you would be wrong. As Trish continues to say "Henry," Beth calls Trish out and makes Trish drink. As we all know, Trish gets so wasted she falls into the pool, and is nearly killed when it mysteriously closes. Did Beth intentionally get Trish drunk so she could trap her in the pool? Is Beth really Wakefield? Only time will tell...

Beth: "You mean she was on the island when..."

Episode 1

This scene makes me a little sad. Beth was about to take over the show when she was cut off by Chloe. Chloe you are lucky we like you, because nobody cuts Beth off when she is speaking! Then she was about to talk again when a giant bird flew out of the sky and startled her. WTF stupid bird! Beth deserves better. I think she was about to give us all the info we needed to know about Wakefield to solve the case. Now we have to wait...

Number 7

Danny: "You know Sully, he's a multi-tasker..."
Beth: "Not me. My plan for the day is spa spa spa!"

Episode 3

In Beth's breakout episode, she showed that important people don't multi-task, they spa.

Beth: "Look at you two, eyeing each other all sexy sexy. I hope I find someone to feel that way about"

Episode 5

Beth was missing pretty much all episode until she delivered this gem. How can someone so perfect still be searching for love? Beth has no idea that every girl wants to be her and every guy wants to be with her. Beth is such a down to earth goddesss.

Beth: "Abby!"
Abby: "Hey Beth. Why don't you join me?"
Beth: "If you say so!"
*All the groomsmen jump into pool*

Episode 3

The editors really knew how important Beth's character would be. That is why they gave Beth the opening line for the second time out of the first three episodes. Beth is once again providing some necessary comedic relief. Abby thinks she can just lounge peacefully in the pool, but Beth had other plans. She obviously set up this hilarious situation where all the groomsmen would jump in the pool at once. Oh Beth, you are so hilarious.

Number 4

Beth: "Oh my God. Tell that to your boyfriend in Seattle!"
Abby: "What are you guys talking about"
Beth "We were just talking about the groomsmen."

Episode 1

Beth is such a good friend that she uses some of her screen time to develope her BFF's character. This is easily one of the most important lines of the show, as Lucy goes missing shortly after. Sure we had to wait 3 episodes before anyone ever questioned where Lucy went and before this excuse was used. But why would anyone notice if the popular socialite goes missing? If Beth went missing everybody would be asking about her. Actually, if Beth went missing everyone would stop watching and the show would be canceled.

Beth: "Chloe..."

Episode 2

Beth was the fearless leader of the winning red team. While the blue and yellow teams were distracted by creepy Kelly and Wakefield's grave, Beth was leading her red team to victory. In this scene, Beth puts Chloe into a hysterical laughter when she puts a bandana over her mouth. Beth shows once again how she brings a comedic presence to this award winning psychological thriller.

Beth: "I don't want to see that! Don't ever show me that again!"

Episode 1 (Scene 1)

The star of Harper's Island was given the opening line in the series. The producers knew that as soon as we heard her angellic voice, we would be hooked on the show. For many sucksters like myself, it was love at first sight. I found myself getting distracted during the first show, thinking how can Beth be single?

This scene may end up being much more important than just introducing Beth as the star. Many people have used this scene as a clue that Cal is Madison's new friend (and therefore the killer.) Most fans did not notice this clue, as Beth's charisma distracted them.

Number 1

Beth: "Henry is gonna lose it when he sees you in that."
*Picks up cell phone*
Beth: "Hunter? Hunter Jennings? Oh my God, why is he calling you? You didn't invite him did you? "
Shea: "I thought you said he was leaving.?
Beth: "Wait he's on the island? Does Henry know?
Trish: "I'm taking care of the Hunter situation."
Beth: "Just like you took care of it in college..."
Shea: "What happened in college?"
Beth: "Let's just say Trish's mouth said no, but her body said..."

Episode 3

Finally someone let bitchy Beth out of her cage! Beth was given a quick chance to speak and she took over the scene. She starts by asking a list of questions (6) without waiting for any sort of an answer. Beth obviously already knows the answer to all these questions, as Beth is all-knowing. She just asks these questions to grace us with her beautiful voice. Then Beth takes a turn for the bitchy side, by taunting Trish with her collegiate sexcapades. Trish then ends the scene by forbidding Beth from telling Henry about Hunter. Shockingly enough, Henry finds out about Hunter anyways. Coincidence? I think not. Nobody forbids Beth from doing anything.
