I liked so many of them too, and even today they hold up, unlike so many sitcoms. Roseanne was really revolutionary for that time, and under-rated...she did
help change television.
I don't even remember the specifics of the episode, but I remember thinking it was brilliant. Roseanne was doing the "facts of life" talk with Darlene (or perhaps both sisters?) Or Darlene got her period? So good. I still remember the feeling that it was fantastic and the most "real" thing yet on TV--even though I don't remember the specifics. ? anyone

i also liked the one where they played a joke on roseanne. david was pretending to date another girl, then darlene finds out about it and goes down and rips
the girls head off (fake head of course lol)

It's not the funniest episode but I also loved the one where Dan goes to jail for beating up Jackie's abusive boyfriend, Fisher. It was touching, that
even though Dan and Jackie didn't seem to always get a long that he wouldn't think twice about helping her out.

The Halloween ones and my all time favorite is when they were the White Trashiest house on the block with Christmas decorations .

LOL Holy shit I had never seen these Roseanne bloopers before!
My favorite one by far is at the 1:00 mark, when Sara Gilbert completely knocks Roseanne down on her ass! That's just begging to be made into an animated gif... |

God I love this show. One of my all-time favorites. The Beckies song cracked me the hell up, but Sarah Chalke was blech as Becky v 2.0

Not many shows could get away with switching the Becky's back and forth. Sarah Chalke was not as good, but she was serviceable. I always got a good laugh
when Chalke would return, while Goranson took the role back (I'm thinking of at least two different Halloween episodes where Chalke would show up at the
Connor house with Trick o' Treaters).

A lot of the two Becky's stuff was some of my favorite bits from Roseanne. Especially for the first episode where Lecy came back to take over the role, and
they totally tried to "sex her up" so she looked more like Chalke, but that only lasted about one episode before she was back to wearing frumpy
looking sweaters and such. And of course my favorite line from the episode:
Darlene: Where the hell have you been? Becky: Why does everybody keep saying that to me? And of course the Disney episode... Becky: Did I hear right? We're going to Disney World? Roseanne: Yeah, aren't you glad you're here this week? |

I loved the episode when Rosanne was going over words with a network ex that they couldn't say on the air. How that man kept a straight face I'll
never know.
My husband love that this show is on TV Land right now. We watch nightly. I also liked the tornado episode, the holiday ones, and any of the episodes from the first two years. Classic TV! |
