Melissa isn't where she should be, and if she is ever given a hip hop we will probably see her falter. I am comparing her to other ballet trained dancers Talia (australia's winner), Vanessa (1st season Aus) and runner up Allie from Canada. And the problem with the show putting it's dancers in little boxes and concealing the training they do have is we can't compare this dancer versus another based on what type of dancer the show says they are. Most dancers have training in multiple areas and are basically trained in learning choreography (and their technique helps with that). Even if they've never formally studied other forms of dancing they've probably done most at some point in workshops, for theater ect. . .

Well, except for russian folk dance. They don't have russian folk dance workshops.

What ethnic style are they going to do next? Irish dancing?
