WAIT!
There are countertop dishwashers? I thought I was doomed to handwashing since I don't want to alter my beauteous kitchen cabinetry. I've been debating my preference for using real dishes as opposed to disposable for some time now. I don't know which I hate more: using disposable {anti-green} products V washing dishes. Sadly, I must cut dining out to once a week. But with a countertop dishwasher I can enjoy cooking and eating at home again! <3<3<3 |

Yeah, I think they're about $250-$300. The size of a large microwave and maybe washes 4 place settings. Another Dishwashing Thread Miracle!!! |

Grow a set a balls,Lila. Hand washing dishes is easy and can be your moment of Zen every day. If it's good enough for Madge, then it's definitely good
enough for your haggard fingers.

Agreed.
In my earlier little treatise on handwashing dishes, I did neglect to mention the Zen aspect of it. I do some of my best thinking when I'm washing the dishes. You activate the systematic side of the brain as you wash, and it frees up the creative side to wander around a little. It also guarantees a little quiet time every day, which is actually pretty precious some days. |
