God willing, I'll never find out, but I did have a flexible sigmoidoscopy a few years back. Just before administering it, they told me there would be a brief "sensation of an evacuation urge." But it didn't prepare me. As soon as the doctor started to stick that tube in, I was like "OMG I've got a major turtle head going and I'm gonna decorate the exam table!!!" Even though I knew I didn't, and I'd cleaned out the night before and there was nothing TO unload. The illusion was strikingly realistic though until it passed.
So... umm... does it?
