Basil Basil should probably be lower. Dunno why I didn't think of including it in the last update. Must be cuz it's green. (I have a green themed restaurant in case you were wondering <3) Seriously, what the eff is friggin' basil?!? The kids no comprende. If you're gonna have basil why not parsley? Oregano, sage and rosemary? >_> Lol @ me pretending to know anything about cooking. In the game though, basil is always stuck with tomatoes, and tomatoes are hot commodities. Making basil even more worthless than they sound, as there are plenty of better things to do with your precious tomatoes. =O 43. Carrot skins a carrot with the tip of tooth "Now I can't have toothpaste tonight." >_> But really, carrots are another of those underused ingredients. It's only used as a lame side in two main courses. They don't even have a carrot soup, and they have an everything soup! =/ I dunno why carrot seems so useless, the dishes it's in aren't particularly hard to max. Must be because they taste like nothing and our mothers made us eat them against our wills when we were young cuz "veggies are good for you." 42. Pork Lolwut, how does one of the main meat products in all of food get ranked so low you ask? Because this game is totally pork-ist. I mean it's simply...crappier than its beef and chicken counterparts. Chicken is worth 3 stars and is used in 4 dishes. Beef is worth 4 stars and is used in 5 dishes. Pork...is worth 2 stars and only used in two dishes. Playfish (the game's company owner) must have gotten run over by a stampede of pigs when they first started out. Other than that, the dishes pork is used in are nice and easy to max, making it one of the perfect ingredients to spend spend spend and then ignore for the rest of eternity. 41. Bacon Lulz, unfortnuately the game doesn't have a breakfast menu, because bacon and eggs are such a classic staple. <333 It's used with eggs in a paste entree though, like ew-I mean...how cool. Other than that, meh. I think it would probably serve them both well for pork and bacon to be combined into one big piggy pig meat. "Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon" "No." "Ham?" "No." "Pork chops?" "Dad, those all come from the same animal!" "Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal." 40. Apple Oh noes, everybody's favorite fruit! An apple a day keeps the doctor away, so why do apples suck in this game? Well for one...the two star-ers are dropping like flies and most of them are worthless to the extreme. Apples beat them all though, because they are included in the "simple fruit selection" dish that everyone starts with, and so people are either too lazy and/or stupid to pick something else, making apples a sometimes highly requested ingredient. Still though, aside from being randomly thrown in with pork chops, apples aren't good for much else. They don't even have an apple crumble. I'm hoping when drinks finally come out (which had better be SOON) they'll have apple juice and apples will be more useful <3 And mayhaps some apple bubble tea? Like zomg. =O 8. Bacon- I don't CAYUR how useless it is in your stupid game it's friggen BACON you better rank it number one because it's BACON Apples - NOT randomly thrown in with Pork Chops. You can NOT have pork chops without apple sauce EVERYONE knows that duh.

The answer to #10 is "Naga jolokia pepper" but major props for getting half of it right =O and #12 is "Cocoa fat or sugar." Grats you quiz master you <3 And now for a slaughter of three star ingredients! =p 39. Pepperoni giggles At me dragging my precious pepperoni past 10 things. Technically, this is the second most useless ingredient in the game, only used in...you guessed it! Pepperoni pizza. Which would have a lot more fame and glory if this game wasn't dumb enough to have a simple plain pizza along with it. I love pizza, but do we really need two of them? Especially when they both require precious Cheese and Tomato, and instead of Pepperoni, the other one uses Flour, one of the most prized possessions in the game. Hmmm I wonder which pizza is easier to make. Still though, pepperoni is the "dump this on you in an open trade" 3-star ingredient of choice. That and pepperoni makes me think of hawt things <333 38. Sausage Pepperoni's unholy partner in crime, sausage isn't much better. They need to stop having so many individual useless ingredients and start combining them to make a couple good, worthwhile ingredients. The Hot Dog entree has the distinction of being the first dish I ever maxed cuz they are simply so easy to find <3 Hotdogs are love. So like our lives, lolol. It's coupled with Potatoes in both its recipes, another hot commodity...so I can understand why people shy away from teh secksy sausagez. Other than that, I've always found that picture they use to be overtly suggestive if not slightly disturbing. 37. Tofu After spending two weeks trying to sell tofu in a supermarket, I'll never look at these things the same way. How awesome of this game though, to actually have a Mabo Tofu dish <3 They should have a tofu dessert too with sugar and syrup, that would be such lulz. Tofu is generally useless too, since its part of that blasted vegetarian dish that sucks at life. That and the fact that the general opinion of tofu seems to be...not a very positive one. I actually gag a little bit when I get one these days. Almost all the ingredients that are just white in color are valuable. Tofu is one of the few exceptions. 36. Lamb Sometimes I get the picture of Lamb and Beef confuzzled. >_> Beef = precious. Lamb = pretty worthless. It's only found in two appetizerss, proving lambs aren't even worth being a standalone main course, lolpwnt. It's the pork twin in that you'd think such a generic piece of meat would have multiple uses, but no...it simply doesn't. Plus lambs just taste...weird. My brother calls it "too natural." Which I translate as "of the earth...ie. tastes like dirt." With the right sauce I guess lambchops can be good <3 The picture they use looks like a scale you weigh yourself on. Ewww @ that prospect. 35. Banana The banana continues the trend of sexually suggestive food items of this update. Bananas are worth slightly more than the above mentioned because they're in the simple fruit selection <3 And guess what else they're used in? A banana split! Bravo, designers <3 Reminds me of the Amazon when the banana split was just two bananas in a bowl. Don't ask me how I remember that. I dunno why bananas have more stars than apples and strawberries, everyone knows bananas are one of the cheapest fruits you can buy. Oh and you know what they use as "trash" for people to pick up in various restaurants for coins? Spilt can of pop, apple cores, and banana peels. Seriously, people aren't that healthy. Try a chicken bone or something. Time for more quiz questions! =p 13. The chuck is found where on the cow? 14. Which continent produces the most cocoa? (I believe the answer is found in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) 15. What is a coconut? (type of food, which seems to be fairly obvious to me >_>) 16. A crepe is typical a ...? Believe me, don't get the misconception that things with more stars are worth more than their lowly counterparts. Most of the time...they're simply, not. 34. Pomegranate Part deux of the "pretentious fruits," the pomegranate is generally useless and despised by all. The one dish it's used in couples it with Cream and Egg, quite possibly the most hard to come by duo you can think of. Nobody has the goods to max the dish, so pomegranates sit in the inventory, waiting to be dumped on the next unsuspecting sucker who has unlocked ingredients! Why, I have ten of these just waiting around...and I'll never get to spend them since my Creaams and Eggs are in such high demand. It only ranks this high because it's a 4 star item, meaning you can openly trade it for anything that's worthwhile, because let's face it all of the 5 star ingredients (except maybe the lobster) suck major ass. 33. Saffron Saffron City here we come! Did you know saffron is the most expensive spice in the world?? Oops that's a spoiler for an upcoming quiz question. Remember it! Early on when I first started playing the game I remember being all "whoa! I got me a Saffron! I wonder what mega goods I can trade it for? =O" The answer is, not very much. Nobody actually wants a stuck-up, think its too good for the game pos ingredient dragging their inventory down like anchor. You leave it unlocked, and nobody ever takes it since you can only exchange Dragonfruit and Lobster for it. Ingenius really, the open trade system. I've already maxed the Saffron dish, so they're useless to me forever and ever, amen. 32. Dragon Fruit Pretentious fruit part trois. Have you ever had Dragon Fruit? o.o I know I haven't. If you use your imagination, it kinda looks like a purty toilet bowl. giggle With stuff inside it. These fruity abominations are combined with Mangos and Kiwis (both of which are surprisingly rare) to make exotic fruit skewers! As one of the only desserts that doesn't require Flour or Cream, it is a very viable option, lulz. Still though...they're not good for much else. Just another unwanted five star you're supposed to unload on someone, in classic number two fashion. My recommendation is: swipe someone's 4-star with it pronto. Hell even a 3 star is worth it. 31. Noodles For some reason noodles seem to be harder to find than the above mentioned, even though they're only used in one dish just like the rest of them. The Yakibuta Ramen! Doesn't your mouth water just thinking about it? =O Seriously though, it could probably be encompassed under the umbrella of "pasta." And if they were gonna go the Asian cuisine route, they should at least have another noodle-centric dish or two. >_> There isn't much to say about noodles, just that it's another very affordable option since Pork and Onions aren't top tier ingredients in the least. I've finished the noodle dish too <3 Good riddance. 30. Prawn Why is it called prawn, isn't the term "shrimp" better well known? These faux-expensive critters are strangely hard to come by, despite also being a two dish dud. There isn't really a lot of seafood in the game, so the saffron/prawn/rice platter is really where it's at <3 Miscellaneous fact: I often turn down a chance to eat those big, juciy (somewhat disgusting) shrimp they pile on in big platefuls cuz I'm too lazy to peel the shells off. Seriously, who wants to work for their food? Eating is time consuming enough already. But congrats to you prawn, for not sucking enough to just barely make the top 30! Time for everybody's favorite part of RC! 19. Which sauce is typically used in the dish Eggs Benedict? 20. Where did Feta Cheese come from? 21. The flank is found where on the cow? 22. GP gets er, none. giggle <3 Maxi gets 5!...and a half. =O DC gets 3.5. >_> Congrats again Maxi, you RC pro, you. =) There's a little lovin' from every category this update! 29. Peas The peas survived my early slaughter of one-starred crap because despite only being used in only two dishes, one of those requires two sets of peas! (Seething hatred for dishes with repeat ingredients btw. Especially the triple Cheese platter shudders) Just how many peas exactly constitutes as "Peas?" 5 of them? Alol. A whole bag of them? Who can handle two whole bags of peas in their soup? That's a lot of peas. Extra suckage for only being used in soups too. It's good enough to be a side on a main course. And as always sentimental love for being green <3 28. Leek The Leek is in the exact same boat as Peas, except it's worth two stars. Big whoop. And unlike the Pea dishes, which are very doable, the other non-repeat dish is that dreadful vegetarian ensemble. I'm not particularly fond of the leek, it was probably too advanced for us to learn as a food item in school. What makes it so special? Celery, cabbage, lettuce, and spinach were all robbed of being in this game. What to do with all the unwanted Leeks you're sure to have acquired on your RC quest? Grab some Chicken, max the soup and never speak of them again. 27. Mango Ah the elusive mango, so generally useless, but seemingly hard to come by. Must be because mangos appear to be all exotic looking and what not. Mango pudding is actually fantastic, and I would recommend everyone try some if you haven't already. I'm talking about the real thing, not in this silly game. And no, contrary to what the ingredients say, there are no limes in mango pudding. Think of something more credible to toss those worthless Limes in kthx. Since both the mango dishes use fairly run of the mill ingredients, I guess that's why they're in somewhat higher demand. 26. Chocolate Omg everyone's favorite sexual food item! I dunno why they made chocolate suck in this game, it encompasses so much goodness in our lives <3 I mean who doesn't wub the sweet taste? has Homer's Land of Chocolate fantasy...."Wow, chocalate half price!" Seriously though the milky goodness is a waste of space in this game, coupled with Ice Cream in both its desserts, and you get to pick your poison: Flour for a cheesecake, or Cream for a sundae. Don't get me wrong, those are both probably delish <3 But no one has Flour or Cream to give you, gtfo. 25. Pasta And just missing out on the top half (or just making it whatevs), the stringy vagueness that is "pasta!" I have a confession to make....I don't really like pasta. It tastes like...nothing o.o No worse, it tastes like rubber. But anywho, that's neither here nor there. Within this game though there are a couple solid options for the pasta lover: go Bacon and Egg for Carbonara, Beef and Tomato for Bolognese or Beef/Cheese for Lasagna! Garfield would kill for that shit. Still, since the pairings are more high end, I find Pasta generally sitting unlocked waiting to be traded away. Only 24 ingredients remain! I need snazz and pizazz WTF? And I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME, but it won't let me play unless I hire a friend and I has no friends. Unless I am doing something wrong?
