Reina - my house has become a television studio. My living room is a wardrobe, my back porch is makeup, my kitchen is covered in trays of food, my bed has been sat on by more then 20 different butts, and every other room has at least 2 other people in it. Did I mention they are filming in my bathroom, diningroom, bedroom and backyard? This is insane. Haha :-)

Forever riding Clarkson's coattails, runner-up from the same season of American Idol Justin Guarini also threw his hat into the ring, recording a song, "I Can't Live", posted it to YouTube accompanied by the shameless plug "Here's a new demo that I, along with two of Nashville's finest writers- Shaye Smith and Tammy Hyler- put together expressly for the soundtrack of "New Moon". If you like it, share it, and ask for it to be put in the new Twilight movie." He also made a point to tell MTV News that he was "a fan of the books." He further cemented his "loyalty" by adding, "At the time I went in to write this song, the two other writers were talking about the books, and we got into a conversation about it. As we were writing it, we thought, there's a new movie coming out, and so why not give it a shot? And so, we sent it in."

Justin submitted his song, and THEN Yelly's fans and Yelly got all uppity and jumped on the bandwagon -- yes, 'cause its sooooo important to them to shut down anything Justin wants to do in his career by overpublicizing what Yelly's NOT doing. Yes, even 7 years after he lost AI to the fat one! But it doesn't really matter, J's song is about a quadrillion times better than anything Yel-bel ever wrote, and its not too hard to tell that (unless you're delusional, of course)! But onward to more interesting, and FUN, things .... (Yelly can have dibs on all crappy songs she wants to 'write,' go fer it, chickie - She's getting quite the reputation for that!).

justinfog you do realize there's video out there of kelly talking about her song for twilight that was filmed a month or two before Justin first posted his song don't you? Do you just chose to ignore it or were you unawares of that fact?

J's song is about a quadrillion times better than anything Yel-bel ever wrote, and its not too hard to tell that

justinfog can you share the link to kelly's song since it seems you have heard it and nobody else has?

What i don't understand is why, if justin is such a great writer, can't he get anyone else to record these songs he pens? He's recorded them but they aren't good enough to get him a record deal on even an indie label. Wasn't one of his songs about the girl being the drug and he's the spoon or something? Yeah, there's some great writing for you right there.

It was only after Justin put his song out there that she and her creepy little fans jumped on the bandwagon, to make sure Justin didn't get an even break. As usual. You know if a major label came a knockin justin would be signing before they even finished their spiel.

But I'm sure you are right. she probably would much rather be interviewing the most recent bootee off american idol and putting together lame comedy videos to post on the internet v making music and traveling the world promoting it.

I'm not talking about the book or the movie, I'm talking about a song FOR the movie. There's video out there of her talking about it that was posted well before Justin started talking about his song. What did her fans have to do with it?

She submitted the song. She's not the one who had to beg and plead and have her fans do her management's job to get the song to the proper people.

No, he doesn't and he's expressed why in his tweets. (And he has had offers from Universal, among others, just shitty offers!) All the label offer is 360 deals these days, where the label takes a piece of EVERYTHING, including touring, and in return do a crappy job of promoting your songs. Example: Michael Johns, Ace Young, or any other number of AI'ers who learned the hard way. The deal these days is, you do it the label's way (i.e., shut and sing crappy formula songs, and they'll even stick your name on it so people can pretend you had something to do with writing it even though you didn't), or the highway. Most artists - indeed all artists who want to keep their integrity - are finding its just not worth it. Why do you think there are so many big names abandoning the labels, and trying different things, like Madonna and others signing directly with Live Nation, or shopping their wares directly at WalMart like Springsteen and so many others. Kelly's at the tail end of the old fashioned way of doing things with the label, and all she's got for her efforts in the long run is to be considered a manufactured pop-tart/pawn for the label, and a reputation for being a lousy songwriter, unless she's working with their chosen lousy songwriters (like Kara! yikes, lol).

As for Yelly being happy with her situation, we got the real story when she insisted on writing all her own songs on her album (the one that tanked). She's an unhappy beotch, when are you going to get that? The bouncy happy face she puts on for the public is fake. She's got no boyfriend or significant other in her life, she's getting fatter every day, and she can't put her own music out there. (Because yes, we need MORE crappy Ryan Tedder and Katy Perry songs, oh yeah). That was the real Kelly, the rest is just overcompensation for her real unhappiness.

AND on top of that, she and her meanspirited little creepy fans are STILL trying to shut down Justin's career by going into overdrive against him when he submits a song to for a movie. That's how they make themselves feel better that her career is in such a tailspin right now. They also kick small puppies and steal candy from babies for entertainment. Because Justin hasn't been kicked in the gut ENOUGH by you little sh*ts and your girl, her label, and her former management team. I personally don't know how you people look in the mirror every morning. But then, karma is a bitch, and it never fails. Its been working its little magic on Yelly's last two albums, AND on her current career, which is going nowhere. Ye reap what ye sow.

And please don't turn this into a ridiculous Yelly thread, like you losers try to do with every other thread.

To summarize above (because we know Yelly fans don't read paragraphs that have more than one sentence. They're incapable of it).

Justin will continue to do it HIS way, not YOUR way. And as noted, he's enjoying every minute of it ... including being madly in love, and planning for his wedding.

He also only records music HE likes and that no one tells him he has to do ... btw, he's on at least 3 or 4 other jazz artists' albums now, and the music is wonderful.

I know, I know, the music doesn't count to you guys, because you like those Katy Perry knockoffs, so hey to each his own in taste in music, jes sayin'.

AND Justin's very interested in cutting edge technology, which is why he's done a ton of alternative media projects, including video blogs, internet TV shows, this new web TV show, etc.

Meanwhile he finances all that with his very lucrative salary for his two TV shows on the TV Guide Channel when AI is in session.

'Taint nothin' wrong with that. I find it fascinating that its still SO important to hate on Justin for you little sh*ts even after all these years. Get a life, ferchrissake!

I can't believe I watched that entire video, ha ha at the #2 pencil. Anyway, the video was no worse than the silly JT dick in the box SNL skit which got all sorts of good comments. Actually the pencil and pad skit was pretty clever and I thought Justin played a really believable drunk. I don't know why he doesn't try out for some movies and TV roles, he seems to be a natural in front of the camera.

Fast Girl

Racing is in Alex Johnstone's (Mircea Monroe) blood. 5 Stars wonderful feel good movie
I recently watched this movie and was so pleasantly surprised! The acting was great, and the filming (especially the race scenes) was fantastic. Justin Guarini was REALLY good (and quite adorable). Alex's struggle to follow her dreams was very moving, and I found myself teary more than once watching her struggle. There was great suspense, and I really cared about these characters. It was the kind of movie that left me smiling, and wanting more. Great family film!

5 Stars Great Family Movie!
This was the perfect "Movie Night" movie. I watched with my 7 yr-old and a 9 yr-old nieces and we all loved it. It's not easy to find a movie that we can all watch together and enjoy. Fast Girl is a sweet, fun movie. The lead actress, Mircea Monroe, is fantastic. She is sure to be a big star. And I have to say it was fun to see Justin Guarini on the screen. The American Idol runner-up can really act. There is a lot of heart in this movie! (Also some really cool cars.)

5 Stars Great Family Indie film
This was a great family movie. After having grown up around the race track that her uncle owns… a young woman desires to become a race car driver like her dad had been. The race car circuit drivers roll into town and romance is in the air.

A really sweet storyline and great acting by all involved. It was really nice to see Justin Guarini of American Idol fame step away from the mic to exercise his acting chops…which are really good. Mircea Monroe plays the female lead and is really good…as is Caroline Rhea in her role as the waitress at the local diner.

5 Stars Thrills and Romance-What More Could You Want?
This film is an insider's secret-thrills and romance, with subtle touches that make watching a real treat. Beautifully shot and lit-catch the sunlight in the early morning scenes, which could be from an art film. Fun to watch throughout, and not just in the edge-of-your-seat racing parts. When was the last time you could see a movie with the whole family and have everyone smiling at the end? (I am a woman who knows nothing about cars.)
