to be her and there was never really a close second. She got the first rose every episode and the show didn't even bother hiding it. The fraus figured out

Ugh, Mel's coming back for ATFR?
She must have naked photos of someone at ABC, it's the only reason I can think that they keep foisting her on the viewing public. Someone is determined to make this utterly unremarkable woman a star. The fraus loved Mel as soon as it became known that she would be the final one. They love to say they backed the winner. I think the frau's loved Mel when even more she got dumped, it really played into their obvious need to find a connection to themselves within the show. She was the poster child for their inner dumpee. I imagine they view her after-show appearances with their minds playing "I Will Survive" in an eternal loop. Every season fans of one contestant take over and defend their favourite to the death. |

At this point I just want to know who the next Bachelor/ette is. With the exception of the FR, it is pretty much over for me. I'll porbably watch the last
20 minutes of the show, because I find that one person splitting his/her time between two people for over an hour and a half pretty much boring.
Speaking of sanctimonious, I find Jillian's need to see the men's parents a requirement, when none of the men had a chance to meet her parents. I understand they leave it to the last episode, but none of the men placed that importance on meeting her parents. For instance Jillian brought this up several times with Ed, but never did Ed say to her "Jillian you are so right, I can't wait to meet your parents too." |

don't mind Jake being the next bachelor either. Plus maybe Juan is entertaining and we just haven't seen it.
