Another weird bit of trivia.... I thought how do I know this Stephen Moyer dude.. .and of course I go to the video file and found this show that I LOVED and it
was called NY/LON and it was about this transcontinental couple ....he was the investment banker lead and his gf.. none other than Rashida Jones late of the
office and that other show.
And I have dibs on the sick thing with the father and son.. so back off bitches! |

It happens a lot -- I often thought that Buffy was the weakest part of her series. And on Will & Grace, the leads bugged the piss out of me while the
seconds were hilarious. Despite all of this supposed chemistry between Sook-eh and Bill, I just don't see it. But Pam and Eric on the screen for ten
seconds is a million time more interesting. Go figure.

I'm right there with you, Meatball. However, I am worried that AB may stray far from the books with Bill/Sookie's romance and keep them together . . .
if he does, I will be really disappointed, as I am especially looking forward to the main plot from Book 4.

Eric does pallid so much better than Bill. Bill's makeup looks yellow (I agree that he looks like he has jaundice) and I hate the red around his eyes.
And I'm not fond of the southern accent, SueKAYYYYY

Actually, Bill I don't mind.....Sookie is the one that's starting to bug me a little. She's so freaking naive and trusting, like with the
Fellowship of the Sun "Bill, they're a CHURCH! They wouldn't kidnap anyone!". Really, you dumbass? Ever hear of the Inquisition? How
about the Crusades? Is she this retarded in the books?

Did anyone else imagine Pam as looking much different when reading the books? I imagined her looking less buxom and skinnier, more suburban-y and less
interesting on the outside, but still with the same big personality. Actually, I imagined her looking about like the FOTS leader's wife looks on the show,
maybe just a little less cutesy though and with straighter, darker hair.
Not that I'm complaining though. I love the way Pam looks and acts on the show. |

That's how I imagined her, but I love this version of her -- sexy, but she'd also be happy ripping your head off. And she does have great pumps.

I thought the last episode was perfectly fine. I have yet to be disappointed with this show and I don't believe every episode has to be as powerful and in
your face as the two prior weeks.
I am just being nitpicky in my one criticism of the MaryAnn storyline dragging. I just want to see her do something other than getting people riled up and continuing to work her way into Tara's life. We went from dead Ms. Jeanette (was that her name?) and an attack on Sookie and revelation that Sam met MaryAnn as a teen and that he is scared of her, yet Sam won't tell anyone that she is a freaky woman, and it's just been -- party prep, party turning into semi-orgy, Tara begins to pull away, MaryAnne does something to break Tara down again, Tara reaches out again for MaryAnn. Repeat, repeat, repeat. I am ready for something more. Doesn't mean I don't love this show and think it is one of the best dramas on T.V. at this time, though. LOVE this show. LUST Eric. LOVE Eric, Pam, Lafayette, Sam, Terry and REALLY LIKE the rest of the cast. Sundays don't come soon enough for me, because I am so anxious to see the next episode. I expect the remainder of the season is going to be edge-of-your-seat exicitement. |
