I can't believe people fall for that shit. They have to realize they are paying a fortune and getting back a plastic trophy or maybe 5% of what they put
into the pot. The crazy stage mom I know let it slip that for each category like "best eyes" or "best hair" or "best lounge wear under
7 months" you pay an additional entry fee. We should all be hosting these at our local Ramadas.

poor ashlynn....even after she won the big prize, her sister is still convinced that she did better. that dad needs to get his balls back and stand up to the
horse-faced bitch. i don't understand why she makes ashlynn compete in the pageants if she doesn't enjoy them, which she doesn't. i'm still
thinking she needs rescuing.

Holy fuck. That's all I can say after watching that abomination of child exploitation. That big-toothed ass of a mother who favours one twin over the other
deserves a box shot. Seriously. I'd do it. She's even worse than the slack-jawed tool who wants to see if her two week old son has "stage
presence". Christ, he can only see for a few feet you dimwit. Maybe if you whipped out your boob, he'd spring into action. First and last time

What's even more sad is that the mother has completely ruined any chance for those girls to have a normal relationship. I see the bond that my daughters
have and it makes me sad for poor Ashlynn...she'll never see her sister that way thanks to Mommy. It'll always be a competition and she'll always
feel second best. They won't really be friends...we saw that at the very end.
No two kids are the same, twins or not, and no parent should actively promote one in favor of the other. It's sick. But when they are twins, parents have to work twice as hard to be sure to treat them as equally as possible...the kids will automatically compare themselves. I caught my one daughter actively punching herself in the mouth the other day because her bottom tooth isn't loose like her sister's! |

i used to watch this show for the fun of laughing at the white trash parents, but i don't think i'll watch it anymore....i can't stand to watch a
child in that much pain again. you know, this isn't a documentary, so why didn't the producers step in and say "sorry, we don't want this kind
of abuse on our show". typical of TLC and their never-ending exploitation of children and freaks for ratings. i think "What Not to Wear" should
move to another network, since they're way too good for TLC anymore.

I just hope these parents see how much they're hurting their kids and change their behavior. No reason for Ashlynn to be in pagents at all, she seems to
hate it, they should put her in dance, the only time that kid looked happy was when she was dancing. The father was right to pull the brat off of the stage at
least although it should have been done earlier. The mom not fixing Ashlynn's dress? With all the dresses in that house there were none that were not
broken that she could wear? That interview with the two of them at the end was depressing.
Most of the parents on this show I see as excessive and money wasting but not necessarily bad parents or any worse than the crazy obsessive sports parents but that mother, she was horrible. I hope she's ashamed of herself. |

I almost spit out my drink when she said "of course, there really isn't any mental preparation I can do with Kevin at this point" or something similar to that. I wish someone would put together a highlight reel of her inane comments interspersed with clips of the poor, helpless infant. It would be PRICELESS. I pity all of these kids. Major therapy won't come close to helping them recover from this. |
