I've seen talk shows on local cable access shows that were better produced than that crappy final. They just should have had the judges vote for the
winner in the last episode and skipped the reunion

So, who won so I can save an hour of my life?

My lord, was Reco one bitter queen tonight. Anyway, interesting that they had decoy collections at the final fashion show to throw off spoilers...I wonder if
Merlin's collection would've been as out there if he was still really competing.

Reek-O is always bitter, but Merlin was even more bitter than Reek-O. Did you see how he sat there and scowled the whole night? He was argumentative when they
talked to him about his collection even though he admitted what they said about it was what he was going for--costume! Then when they asked who would stay in
contact with their fellow designers he did not raise his hand when nearly everyone else did. He just sat there like he was smelling Johnny's fart.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that Daniella won the judges prize of $10,000 and EVEN MORE that they praised her lavishly. She was genuinely touched and was tearing up when the Harper's Bazaar lady said she wanted to introduce Daniella to some designers. If this had been Project Runway where the judges pick she would have won. YAY! Poor James Paul got WHIPPED in the voting with 19% but considering AMERICA was voting I am so not surprised. His stuff is too cerebral for the mainstream. And I knew Anna would win. I'm happy for her. She really did design the most accessible collection with the widest appeal. She's a great winner.....a feel-good winner, so to speak. ANNA AND DANIELLA PWNAGE IS RIGHT!!! <333333333333333333333333333333 (If only BB11 could end so favourably with a Jordan/Jeff final 2...sigh.) |

You know I am not even going to watch the finale. I have zero interest for some reason. Anna bores me and I knew she would win. Danielle's was just... not
that interesting.

You should at least watch to see Merlin's collection in HD. It was craptacular. Waaaay costumey and over-the-top. And Johnny's just flat out sucked. I
think it would have been easy to tell the decoys from the finalists at that fashion show.

About two weeks ago, this show just completely fell out of my interest zone. Weird. I honestly have no investment whatsoever.

That 15 hour finale tonight was painful to watch.

Carboys Desire wrote:And yet, if Anna won with 56%, then Daniella didn't get much more of the People's Vote than James Paul did, She got just 25% herself. I actually thought that James Paul's collection was gorgeous in motion. Real fashion for the everyday woman? Not so much. It was cool and conceptual and if this were Project Runway, he may very well have won. But he missed his target client with that collection. I adore that he admitted to using S&M gear in his designs, though. |

Even the reunion was kinda boring. I expected some bitchiness.

James-Paul's shit looked hot and uncomfortable- all dark colors. The stuff looked like it itched a lot, too. Very depressing. How the hell did he get that
far?

I couldn't even watch the entire thing. It was even more painfully boring than the entire season was.

I'm kinda pissed I marathoned the first 8 episodes, thankfully I only had it on in the background.
The finale wasn't bad. It to me, was the most interesting episode. They showed all the looks of the designers (none of which I really remembered) so it was like a quick recap of the season. I don't think the judges would have awarded Daniella the $10,000 if she ended up winning.. I knew right there when they started praising her that Anna won. The judges knew she was the best and dedicated the better part of the show to that. America is too caught up in the personalities to ever give her a win. Yet they voted for the one who has NO personality. Throughout the season I forgot that those two were ever on the show (Anna/James Paul). Daniella was the most consistant in every challenge and would have won. Like Carboys said, if it was PR she would have won. |

Great! It's over! Congrats Anna!
If they decide to do another season of this thing, their first step should be to get rid of that godawful Kelly Rowland. Next, better lighting and do something about that low-budget feel the show has. The boys over at Project Rungay have some really good suggestions that Bravo would be wise to take to heart. Anyway, bring on PR and let's pray that Lifetime doesn't fuck it up. |

They should fire Kelly for last night. Isaac asked the contestants a question about who was the toughest judge - and Kelly jumps in right away like Horshack
"Oooh Ooooh Mr. Kotter, I know".
Like her perspective would be the same as the contestants. Maybe they should ask Angel who the worst judge was. The reunion would have been better if they rehashed B Girl and got into a fight. |
