Remove this ad The other thing about the Bench Dance the first time around was that the judges creamed all over it like it was the second coming of dance. I'm sure that influenced a lot of memories. Oddly, there was one Katee routine and one Josh routine nominated, but no Josh/Katee routine. No Bollywood, no Hometown Glory, no No Air. I would pick those three over the actual nominees that aren't Bleeding Love. Chelsie made out with two nods (Bleeding love and Tango).

They hyped this shit for weeks and they even had Cat continue to hype it right up to the minute she was going to perform. Plus if you want good publicity for your charity you could a)get an actual dancer to do a cool dance routine or b)get someone who is actually a big star, no one has cared about Katie Holmes since she was Joey Potter, her only current claim to fame is the fact that people think she's been brainwashed by a nutso cult.

The musical acts that come on this show all lip synch, too, so what is the big deal? She is a big part of their charity, which is set up to do good things, and they had her appear on the show. I didn't think the number was anything to write home about, but I hate to see people attacked for no reason. If she is trying to give back in some way, then good for her. Just because she married Tom Cruise (who has always been reported to be a really nice guy) and they choose to believe in something called Scientology, how does that deserve to be attacked so viciously? I can't stand it when people attack people based only on their beliefs. As long as what you believe in is not a hate-based organization, I don't care what you believe in. If you are doing good, giving back, being nice to others, and not attacking those who don't subscribe to your beliefs then I say good for you.

You're defending cults now, Pinot? Please stop. And the cancer dance...I don't fault Melissa or Ade for it. I can't stand Ade, but I know the OTT praise the dance is getting is the fault of neither dancer, who in my opinion danced it beautifully and it's not surprising that they were safe this week because of it. They both will probably leave next week. But I can't take away from the dance which I thought was quite remarkable. WAY OTT praise however, and I think the judges wanted to elevate to something much more than it was, and that's annoying.

People were obviously expecting more since they're been hyping this shit for weeks now. It's within their rights to complain about a fucking television show and something they didn't enjoy or thought was crappy, we complain about all the other dances, why not Katie's? Nigel can't sit there one second and go on and on about how this is a serious dance show and it's so great for dancers and we got nominated for Emmy awards and then fucking complain when people thought something he chose to put on their 100th show wasn't good dancing. You can't have it both ways is this a dance show or not? Is it about dancing or not? I'm sure DizzyFeet the charity is trying to do great things and good on Katie for being involved with something she apparently believes is important. Just because she's doing something good doesn't mean the routine she performed last night didn't suck or live up to the hype. Just because people didn't like Katie's dancing doesn't mean they think the charity is any less important. Plus her dance wasn't even raising money for the charity so I don't see what the problem is, it's not like the charity is loosing anything b/c people didn't enjoy Katie's dance. Most viewers probably won't even associate Katie's performance with the charity when Nigel continues to promote DizzyFeet this season and next and so on and so forth. He's a tool and by arguing with people about this issue and bashing their opinions he's the one making his charity look bad and giving it bad promo.
