My buddy and I both assumed French as well. Had no clue.

I was clueless on last night's FJ. I love Alex acting like Emil Frey is obviously a German name and like Liederkranz is a common cheese.

Can we just assume that "self-proclaimed gadabout" means unemployed? I felt bad for him doing so poorly while fulfilling his dead sister's bucket
list on appearing on Jeopardy, but just the way he always swayed after getting a right answer made me queasy. I did laugh when he kept frantically hitting the
buzzer but would fail almost every time.
STEFAN OWNAGE! Can't wait to see how he fairs in the 26th season. |

Stefan creeps me out. I hates him. That lady today was giving him a battle, though. And Trebek seemed to take a liking to her.

I like Stefan. He's well-groomed and polite and loves Tina Turner. <3

I have never seen anyone struggle with the buzzer the way that John (the one in the middle) did tonight.
He was pressing that buzzer so fast and furious, I was expecting he would break his thumb. But that didn't happen. I was also expecting him to just stay there pressing and pressing the buzzer even after Alex told them all to put down their "signalling buttons". By the way, do you know why Alex calls them "signalling buttons"? It's because in Canada, "buzzer" is considered a very rude word (too close to "buzzard"). We Canadians can get pretty strange about some things sometimes. |

John was an idiot.
Stefan is OK. He knows his shit. Amazing the way he handled those math questions the other day. Must be mathematical genius the was he kicked out those obtuse factors. He might be around for a while. And deserves to. I thought that Dylan category would be easy, but, shit, where did they come up with those questions? Hey Jeopardy- how about "Blowin' in the Wind" or something?! |

As far as Stefan goes, the thing that really blew me away was his knowledge of tiny countries and capitals. It seemed to me he knew a few African country names
that I had never even heard of. Plus he knew the capital cities of some really tiny countries.
If I thought there was any possibility, I'd almost think somehow Stefan got the answers in advance. But the truth is probably just the guy knows an incredible amount of stuff. How could he ever have learned all that stuff in such a short life span "testing video games"? Or whatever he does. Where would he have gotten the time to learn all this stuff? If I was ever a contestant (which I would never be cuz I'm not knowledgeable enough), I would have a few categories of facts to memorize - like the names and dates of all US presidents together with their VPs and who they defeated. It seems that every show one or two questions ask for those facts. I wonder if someone has ever made a list of fact categories like that for Jeopardy? I'm guessing may memorizing a few dozen fact categories could give you the answers to maybe 25 questions per game. I'm gonna go look in Wikipedia. I'm thinking maybe someone might have produced such a list of categories. |

I liked him ever since he hummed the Jeopardy theme song in three tunes. I like his personality and unlike that lobbyist earlier on who won a bunch of shows he
is actually interesting.
He takes large wagers in attempt to put the game away and even if he misses a true daily double he gets the lead back rather quick. I actually yelled 'NO!' when I saw him miss his final Jeopardy with a wager of some 20,000. But goddamn that takes a lot of guts, props to him. It would have been great if he got it but I think if he keeps winning he's going to be a little less risky in FJ. |

Well, I was bummed that Stefan didn't get any chances to double his money with the DULL GIRL getting all three. She wasn't very interesting although
she was a challenge for him.
That other guy (John?) had me laughing. What a whack job...pumping that buzzer like he was tenderizing a tough steak. Also, he looked anxious the entire time. I was surprised that only one of them got the final J. question. I couldn't even think of any one but Tina Turner for that answer. |

Yikes I was worried going into FJ last night. Glad he got it right (how did anyone not get it? It was easy). That middle guy felt liek a spoof of Jeopardy
contestants. I thought he was hilarious in a trainwreck kinda way).

I tried and tried but I could not come up with Tina Turner. She's too low-profile these days to be on my radar. I thought of Liza Minelli and knew it was
wrong but then I couldn't clear my head. She wouldn't leave!
Can't believe that chick guessed Madonna! I think I would have left it blank. Madonna...69! |
