They were such an odd group, but watching them work together for the F7 episode was amazing. The Yaxha 4 were okay, I guess. They were likeable, but not all that interesting.

Posts: 9243 (07/23/09 3:32 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I actually rewatched Vanuatu recently, and on a rewatch, I have to say that I really really liked Scout, and think she is a highly underappreciated player, just because of her post-show novel-length blogs. I've always been a fan of Twila too, as she was my favourite of Vanuatu on the first watch and the rewatch. Chris was a good player, and overcame great odds, but I don't really have strong feelings about him either way. And I've never really liked Eliza in Vanuatu and was surprised she got chosen to return in FvF over Twila. Love the quote you picked for Scout, TS, but you left off the second part... "When I came out here, I was determined to play the game with integrity, honesty and truth. And if that didn't work, I'd lie, cheat and steal. We've now reduced ourselves to the lie, cheat and steal part." <333 PS. Even as a male, I actually loved the depiction of Ami as a man-hating lesbot. <3 I don't really have many opinions about Guatemala either, but I was cheering for Stephenie/Rafe/Jamie/Lydia, so meh about the other alliance

Everyone from Guatemala after Blake's boot was pretty damn interesting. They all had something going for them which is why I like it so much as a season. Natalie was at least hysterical in the way she bashed the men. Not a complete cold hearted bitch.

We'd seen female alliances, and female finalists, but up until that point, I don't think any other woman had ever played as boldly or confidently made decisions as Ami. And I know a lot of it was in the edit, but Ami treating the men so poorly and being such a feminist came across as a caricature and I thought it was entertaining. I'm sure if we got more episodes of Natalie speaking, she woulda resembled Ami a little more, except with more ties to the men and less overall dominance. Love them both though <3

On one hand, it was hilarious to see him hit the person he was trying to flip with a machete, and his final words were amazing. On the other, he was boring as hell, he gained about 50 pounds for the reunion, and, worst of all, he sided with Terry over Misty.
