Another problem with this season is that the athletes have a huge advantage over the other cliques in the sense that if you're athletic, you can still win Q&A competitions because a lot of the time it's just luck. The brains, off beats, and Jordan don't have specific competitions where they can excel because they're in their own cliques like the athletes do. I think Braden and Laura had the potential to be good physical competitors, but obviously they're gone.

One of the big problems was the non-athlete alliance had a good chance of winning the second HOH, but most of them threw it to Ronnie, stupidly believing he was going to work with them. Instead he basically just slit his own throat to advance Jessie's game. It's exactly what was going on with the Sovs at the beginning of BB All Stars, they won the HOH comps and they had a few people who were blindly loyal to them. The main difference was that alliance had people who hated most of the others and were waiting to get out of it, and they had a manipulator like Will working against them. None of that is in place this season. We have masterminds like Russell the poser and lackeys like Chima and Kevin who go on about doing their own thing but usually fall back into line.

Reality shows are just a mind-fuck. They suck you in emotionally like a good mystery book. You may not like how the story unfolds, but you're unable to put it down until you know the ending, good or bad.

I'm not sure if some of the reactions of the past few days ("These people are all so stupid/I hate them") is what BB hopes for.

But I am liking this season anyway. Braden leaving was no big loss. In fact, even though Im not keen on Chima she has the potential to be a good houseguest and cause major laffos and drama. Laura leaving wasn't so good. She was a strong player and I believe she would have shaken up the season. This week, if Casey leaves which seems likely I wont be too fussed, he is an OK houseguest but really I can live without him.

People need to look on the bright side. Next week anything could happen. Look at last year with Keesha and Libra flipping. I really think Chima and Russell may flip and join Jordan and Jeff with Michele hanging in the middle. Then it would be 5 Vs 5. That would be awesome. Michele, Jordan, Jeff, Chima, Russell Vs Jessie, Ronnie, Lydia, Kevin and Natalie. The latter team would be more hated than the Nerd Herd

Chima has an F3 deal with Natalie and Jessie. Russell likes to put up a front of not caring for his alliance but he still relies on them to protect him so he doesn't have to do the work. I don't know if either of them will ever make moves until it's too late because they both seem to assume they have some type of power in their current alliance. Chima is probably even more secure now because she thinks she has a solid alliance and a house boyfriend. She may be less likely to do anything but wait until it's time for her to go.

As long as Jessie is in charge and Grodner likes Jessie, then I don't think anything will change. If next week is endurance, then Natalie will probably win, and the most we may get is her getting Lydia out, which I would be very happy with, but I don't think it would change the dynamics of the house (actually I think this would strengthen her position in the house, because Lydia is toxic). If anyone else wins, then either Michele will leave, or Ronnie.
