This business about the "Dummy" spinoff was quashed by Ausiello last week: Question: Got any scoop on the PDN finale? --Carolyn Ausiello: Funny, we posed that exact question to Jeff Probst at the Hollywood premiere of Star Trek earlier this week. "All I will say is that it is time for Pear's time travel craziness to end," he said. "And once it does end, something very, very surprising will happen in her wake. It is a little bit of a game-changer." Are there any other Q&A's out addressing PDN? I don't believe Probst for a second. Not one.

TMZ has learned "Three's Company" star Joyce DeWitt was arrested for DUI on July 4th in El Segundo, California. Law enforcement sources tell us DeWitt drove past a barricade Saturday afternoon -- and when an officer approached her, she smelled like booze. She was given field sobriety tests and then arrested for suspicion of DUI. The 60-year-old actress, who played Janet Wood on the 80's sitcom, posted bail for $5,000. Danielle from the Real Housewives of NJ. apparently she's been in contact with the producers to join the cast as Shannon's crazy sex craven cougar older sister, by the same name. I guess they don't trust her to learn lines. I hear that it'll mostly be improve, what Danielle does best, at least with a little help from her producer friends. The writers are going to tap a lot of stuff from her supposed prostitution whore past.

Loved the Actor's Studio installment -- Tom, Bubbles, and Pear in the alternate takes was a hoot to see, it was terrific to finally find out why a guy with the last name Carrington got the first name Herrington, and let's face it: nobody but nobody can get inside Shannen's head like Lipton.
