I was just letting you know it has an alternative meaning just like how some people here didn't know "beaner" could be offensive to some people and get you at trouble at work or something if you go around using it. Here, I don't think anybody will care too much though.

I never hear the term Mongoloid used by any Asian governmental entities. I don't know what you would call it. But it's used in certain race expert circles. I don't know if "official" was the right term but I don't know what else to call it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoloid_race Basically, common day slang would be words like Caucasian, or white, or Asian, or black, etc. But some scientific circles use the terms: Caucasoid Negroid Mongoloid Austroloid and so on. It's just 1 of those words you can get in trouble for if you misuse as an insult so I was giving a heads up. I don't think anybody cares too much here though. I remember learning about Mongoloids, Negroids and Caucasoids in school. Growing up I remember hearing people call persons with Down Syndrome, or who resembled people that suffered with such, 'mongols'.
