Michele is so painfully bad at communication, she has not given them a reason to not be suspicious of her. We know she is telling the truth, but the idiots in the house don't (or can't tell) because she fucking sucks at presenting her side of things. All the nervous giggles and awkward pauses aren't helping her at all.
