I'm pretty sure he didn't spoil it, as "Ben Wade" is a fake. "Heroes vs Villains" is better than any other twist they would come up with, and it won't really affect the game much except for determining the original tribal divisions, which will probably be switched after about 4 episodes anyway. It will just be a theme to get audiences watching and it will allow them to differentiate the series from the other All-Stars series - "All-Stars" and "Fans vs Favourites".
Everyone was apprehensive about the Fans vs Favourites twist too, but the season turned out to be one of the best ever. A season's success isn't determined by the name of the season or its theme, it is determined by the gameplay and the cast. Heroes vs Villains will have even less of an effect on season 20 than Fans vs Favourites did on season 16. It is just an interesting theme to jumpstart the season.
The initial casting rumors I heard were positive but since then so many people I hated have been added as being potentials.
