Photoshop Strikes Again! Kelly Clarkson on Self Magazine's Cover
OK, this has got to STOP!
Dear mister / miss who performed the meaningless digital liposuction on Kelly, we know how Kelly looks like. We see new pictures of her on weekly basis. In fact, here's the real, true and authentic Kelly:
So, for the millionth time, I have to ask:
WHY? What's
the point (besides smashing Kelly's and average women's confidence)?

OMG!!!
OMG! This is really horrible!!! Everybody knows this is not Kelly Clarkson on the mag. I think they should have put the real Kelly on the cover. She is at her heaviest and it could have been a good message such as even though she has gained weight and she has never been happier. People are going to laugh when they see this cover. This is so noticeable it reminds me of the Olay ads with Twiggy. They took an older yet beautiful lady turned her into someone who is wrinkle free. She's in her 60s!!!! Now some people in Britain want to ban Photoshop. To me Photoshop is suppose to help a person look better not completely alter how they look. SMDH!!
ban the photoshop, this is rediculous,my goodness.Lawd have mercy.
when was the Self picture taken ? Kelly wasnt that fat 6 months ago (if i remember well…)
Not sure, but she wasn't that slim either. I don't think she's been that slim for a while.
Nope, just looked at the archive for Kelly, and in Feb. there was a "skinny vs. curvy battle" of Kelly and Paris Hilton, and Kelly was definitely not as slim as she is on the cover of Self magazine 6 months ago.

AND they have the nerve state by side her pic "Stay True to You…."
SMH
Yeah! And basically saying if you love yourself, people will too. They obv love the real Kelly sooo much….
Decoded - change who you are so the world will accept you.
and…why the hell did they made K.C her cover if she has openly said she feels comfortable!, writing headlines like "slim down your way"…bla bla bla, I mean she is clearly not loosing any weight and aparently she doesnt want to
Photoshop has definitely been taken too far .. It started out as a way to enhance, and now it is used to change a person's look and mold them into someone else completely. Although it is likely that this photoshoot was done awhile ago (before Kelly gained as much noticeable weight), there have still been too many examples of photoshop being used incorrectly and completely altering how somebody looks (another more recent example is the twiggy Olay ads) .
Perhaps, if anything, it will be incentive for Kelly to get healthy again instead of being as curvy as she is today. Same thing with Hillary Duff, she looks amazing photoshoped. Perhaps it might be incentive to tone up and become a role model for people who are over weight and lose it.
Your point went downhill when you included Hillary Duff in your commentary.
Hilary Duff could lose 30 lbs and get to a BMI of 18, yet still she wouldn't look as good as she does photoshopped. Why? Because when they photoshop her, they extend her limbs and make her about six inches taller. Nothing in the world will cause that to happen in real life.
I think this is sooooo stupid, I mean, they write things such as "stay true to yourself…" and then show not only a photoshoped picture but a completly distortionated one…yes, she looks good, but the main problem is…SHE IS NOT KELLY KLARCKSON!.. its just her head over someone elses body. I wonder what does she thinks about it
