I can't think of 3 words an entrepreneur would hate more. Colleen probably still wets the bed with nightmares about being in another Rob Schneider movie. I think she made a good choice getting away from the D-list life, it would never have lead to anything. I'd like to see her back on Survivor though.

And I really hope Tom Westman's there, and even though I'm not a huge fan I think Colby's definitely one of the show's bigger stars and I hope he's in there too. I really, really like the idea of cameos from other contestants--maybe taking the place of or in addition to the family visit like Ahora said. BBAS and TARAS incorporated non-All-Stars and it was a really nice touch that ASS and Micronesia were missing and would've been a lot of fun. What would be cool is if they paired up with someone from their season for a challenge or something--either a friend or an enemy or just whoever. Come on, it's probably our only chance of ever seeing Sean Rector if Boston Rob's a contestant! It'd be interesting to see how all of them would interact, if they still hold grudges or anything like that--and maybe as an added incentive the non-contestant who wins the challenge gets a cash prize in addition to going on the reward, so there's no reason for, say, Erinn to sabotage Coach right off the bat.

People like Gervase, Big Tom and Jenna L are neither big stars of the show or recent contestants. I just don't understand why people like this wouldb considered for such a season. For an All-Star season to be worthwhile at this point of time they need to have 1 or both of these things: 1. Recent stars (Coach, Sugar, Randy, Tyson, JT etc.), 2. The biggest stars of the show (Rupert, Stephenie, James, Jerri etc.) If the cast is entirely comprised of people from these 2 categories, it will be a success. However, it seems that people who don't fall within either of these groups like Gervase, Big Tom and Jenna L, are being strongly considered for this season. I just hope that people like that are not in Samoa right now.

I feel like he'll go the way of Jenna Lewis ... out for revenge cuz he feels shafted being in the first season and not really knowing how to play ... so he'll play hard, screw over cool people, and made us forget that we really enjoyed him the first go around

There's plenty of people who would be "intriguing", but they shouldn't be on an All-Stars season. If they have a "Second Chance" season, that is where these intriguing people should be cast.

In fact, he was in the same boat as Colleen at the time. Having him back, or anyone from Borneo (aside from JLew, since she added nothing to All Stars) is a good move.

I think the alliance strategy would have taken a hit. Gervase would be interesting to see as long as he does NOT do what Jenna did in ASS. From what I recall from season one the two did not think along similar lines. I do not believe that he would employ a similar strategy. I'm not convinced he would become the next Lex either. The biggest question I would have with regards to a season one contestant on S20 is how would Colleen turn out? What strategy would she use to gain the upper hand? Would she become like Jenna or Jerri? I do NOT believe we would be in danger of seeing her forming an alliance with Coach. or worse...

I think you're greatly underestimating how well people remember the first season, not to mention that Gervase has the Red X thing going for him and he's still a local celebrity in the Philly area. I think we have a better shot at seeing her on ASS2 than we did in ASS1. Now the show is more of an experience than a launching platform. No one on the show now-a-days can make a career out of the fame, like they could have in the first 8 seasons. She'll make some kind of blurb in entertainment weekly when all-stars 2 is announced, but that'll be it. She'll be voted off, or she'll win and then she'll go back to her regular life with money. The only problem would be... she didnt like backstabbing and the game aspect, and because the game is so heavy on that, it might deter her. I will say though, she was the one who was trying to get Pagong together to vote off Tagi... she's naturally a strong strategist so I'd be interested to see how she fairs against the strategy hungry players of today.

I'm not actually from the US, so I don't see people like Gervase and others from the earlier seasons as celebrities. Obviously, they get a lot more exposure in the US than they do elsewhere. I think that's where I tend to not remember the early season casts as well as some people on here. On a different note, someone on Skills said on August 7th: "I was watching the news on our local CBS affiliate last night and they were doing a story on a neighboring communities girl's softball team leaving for the softball world series. Guess who was there to see them off? Big Tom and Lex. I could see Big Tom being there it's from his "neck of the woods", but Lex?" I don't know when that story was actually compiled for the news, but I wonder what it means for Big Tom's chances to be on the show. Shouldn't he have been in LA at that time?

It would have been Hatch, but his ankle bracelet couldn't reach. Just having some people like he Sandra and Tom W we haven't seen in a while is good. There is plenty of star power in the rumored cast.
