I only watched this show because i live near the area and I went to high school with some of these people. i had a class with 3 of them actually. so i guess
its cool that people i know are doing this even though it was pretty. and yes they need a better voting out catchphrase. BB without strategy bascially.

Where do I nominate my neighborhood for next summer's series? We have a mixed race family next door, a slut and her "business partner" on the
other side, two gay guys across the street, a divocee and her daughter directly across from us, a white trash family up the street...
We might have to convince an Hispanic family and maybe a nice Jewish family to move into the neighborhood. |

So I got three things out of this show:
1. It's horrifically trashy, will cause a ton of hurt feelings and probably a few lawsuits. Therefore I loved it. 2. The little kid who saw his dad sleeping and thought he was a great dad made me want to stab my eyes out it was so abhoringly nauseating. 3. I want Mullonix to win because a. Dramatic lesbo mom, b. Hot geeky son with the long Thor hair. |

I don't like any of the families that much, but I guess I'm gonna root for the crazy lesbos and their closest case kids.
The Nelson's and that brainy family are gonna be unbearable with their doucheyness. Seriously, they can nominate any family they want so they pick the most pathetic, unathletic, fatty team? Also major to the random mother/daughter "family".

I watched, sometimes peeking between my fingers because of my shock and shame for viewing it.
Lovely homes -Kennesaw looks real nice. Lesbian family mom crying over everything - that used to be me- till I grew old, jaded and indifferent to everything IQ dad - your IQ's are all over 140 and your on this show! WTF? Winning family - hey man - it's a game - just do it - no regrets -y'all knew what you signed up for. Upshaws - like them. Single Mom family with 2 members vs. family with 5 or 6 members - I'm confused. Little kids in families vs. families with teenagers - does not seem fair- but who cares! Matt- doing a commendable job at hosting - however, Simon would have reamed him a new one and Paula would have loved how he made the hosting his own! One more thing - how can you not hear the constuction crew building the great wall around your homes and act surprised when you see it in the morning? |

I actually enjoyed it somewhat. Still, with even some obvious tweaking, it would have been a lot more interesting. The genre of survivor-style reality shows
have some pretty well-established production "rules" now, so it's not like they had to reinvent the wheel. For example, why didn't they have
a decent catchphrase for the family getting kicked off? Why didn't they have any "tribal council" discussion of who should get voted off, and
why? Why didn't any of the families try to form an alliance with the "kings"? (Have none of them seen Survivor before?) Maybe they did and the
show just didn't show it. Why didn't they have a separate "reward" challenge with a reward that could be shared with only one or two
families? It seems like that would push the fams towards some strategizing, if nothing else.
The whole voting seemed really anticlimactic. If the high point of each episode is supposed to be the challenge, they really need to make the challenge more interesting and involved. All in all, it was pretty so so and looks like they didn't put a lot of thought into it. |

It was the strangest mix between Big Brother 2, Survivor, and TAR: Family Edition. I wasn't impressed but I wasn't expecting much. I'll probably
keep watching anyway since I have nothing better to do.
