The only reason I'd think she's a WTF pick is because Probst and co hate her, and they have plenty of other women to choose from.

Survivor300 just seems fishy with his sources, even with his pick of Bob/Sugar/Susie was so late in the season. And to end the debate, Candice doesn't belong being lumped with Parvati/Danielle/Amanda as useless females in bikinis. Candice took the game into her hands from day one and was working it to get to the end. She knew what she was doing and if Raro could have gotten their act together to win a challenge, she easily wins the game. I love the news that Neleh was pressured hardcore to come on the show. If they can't get Colleen, Neleh would be just as good, IMO.

I'm surprised they asked Hunter but kind of happy by it... I think he could have been great and was voted out too early. The thing is though, he isn't an all star, if they ever do a Second Chance survivor he'd have to be in it.

And she's not bad at all -- she's a good athlete, a decent strategist and is more than likely to rub someone the wrong way which will be for decent TV at least. Not the best choice, but still a good enough one. Plus she seems like someone who has had a few years to reflect and grow up a little, so it'd be cool to see if she changes up her game. You never know. J.T., Randy, Amanda, James... none of those 4 deserve to be on.

Therefore, they bring back people like James who are pointless strategically. For example, here is my mom's response to the cast.. Colby: Yes, she loves him! Boston Rob: Yes, she is very excited! Rupert: Yes, doesn't like him. Tom W.: Yes, he's okay James: Barely remembers him, cannot picture him (wtf?) Randy: Hates him! Tyson: Doesn't like him Coach: "Are you kidding me!?!" Obv not happy JT: Doesn't remember him, I told her that he just won the most recent season, and she still can't picture him and her memory for the girls is kind of sad.... Jerri: Yes, remembers her cowboy hat. lmfao. Parvati: says it sounds familar, and asked if she was the pretty blonde from tocantins (how does she remember sydney, and not parvati!?). I told her no, micronesia, fans vs. favorites, and she asked what that was.. Amanda: no clue Stephenie: Remembers her, likes her, but doesn't remember her ever being on a second season Courtney: Asked if that's the one she mixes up with Sugar, and I said you mean Sierra?, and she then said, "Who's Sierra?" Sugar: Yes, liked her. As far as Danielle, Sandra, Candice..she never watched those seasons. Doubt she'd remember them though. Kind of interesting that she remembers people from 10 years ago, but not people from the past year. Kind of goes to show how this show has changed. She also remembered Colleen and wants to see her back.

If I ask or say anything to anyone at work or even friends and relatives about Survivor their quick reference is to the 1st 2 seasons. Everyone at work seems to remember Hatch, Sue, Rudy, Colleen, Tina, Colby, Elisabeth, Jerri, Kimmi. Everyone remembers that retarded bong they all had to hit in season one as they arrived at TC & the pot of cash that sat accross from the castaways, lol. Alot of others do remember most of the seasons that followed, but past ASS1, people are like what? who? shrugs

Personally, I don't think Danielle deserves to be there, but Gina does. Danielle had no impact whatsoever, probably 99% of casual Survivor viewers won't have any idea of who the fuck she is (especially considering she was on a season full of such strong characters like Cirie, Shane, Terry, etc.), whereas Gina is more likely to be remembered, being the likable underdog on the Maraamu tribe, aka the tribe that couldn't win anything. The producers need at least SOME females that were generally well liked by the public... Colleen, Elisabeth, and apparently Neleh turned it down, so why not go after Gina when she was clearly a popular contestant? Plus, it would switch things up with bringing an early boot back for All-Stars.

Compared to the randoms that have been seriously suggested in this thread the people I picked out are shoe-ins.
