The shooter in Hotch's apartment was the guy from earlier in the season...played by C. Thomas Howell ( and they screwed that up by putting his name in
the credits LOL)

I think this show was based largley on 'The Willie Picton Trial' (murders of prostitutes and feeding them to the pigs outside of Vancouver)..it's
been a HUGE story up here and I'm sure it's been in the news in the States. Picton is 'somewhat slow' and has a brother, they own a Pig Farm,
several East-side prostitutes were taken out there 'and are missing/presumed killed by Picton'...bones and 'items' were dug up at the Pig
Farm..etc..etc...
So, there were SO many similarities except the obvious added highlights and trimming parts. Very familiar , I thought I was watching the documentary with changes. Very creepy. It was a very well done episode and I loved Kelly ? talking to the 'slow' brother and trying to work his mind to get to her freedom. |

I love how all the Canadians right away related it to the Robert Pickton case in BC. That's the first thing I thought of when I watched this episode too.
Very much similar cases.
As always, this show provides big cliffhangers for the summer. I'm interested for the next season to start already! |

In April Thomas Gibson posted this to a fan site: http://criminalmindsfanatic.blogspot.com/2009/04/criminal-minds-note-from-thomas-gibson.html
Hi CM Fans,Don't know if that means Hotch is not dead, just thought I'd throw it out there. |

A lot of shows have used elements of the Picton case in their shows (he is thought to have slaughtered as many as 70 prostitutes beginning in the late
80's, early 90's). So this was an interesting take on it. I know a few people who collected the forensic material (and there was a lot of it) and the
horror they described just cannot be adequately shown on network tv.

Weird, I was just coming in here to ask what happened to the Reaper. Now I know!
Can't believe I missed that episode the first time around. I figured something was up when they randomly re-ran it last week. |

I have spent the last few weeks watching the first 3 seasons and part of the 4th, the rest I will catch up on next weekend. I can't believe I never watched
this. It is incredible.

First few seasons with Mandy were excellent - but I always hated Lola G - glad they replaced her with Paget.
watched a repeat on A&E Friday night and it was the one with Charles Haid - Elle was on vacatoin with Morgan and Gilles Marini (Dancing with the stars) had a bit part. |
