Survivor still does better numbers then BBT (which yes, would be a reason to give them the slot) and The Mentalist doesn't really need the position as it's doing quite well without the extra hype... it wouldn't hurt of course. Out of those three though, Survivor is the one with the least amount of critical acclaim and will also be a premiere. I doubt it happens as well, but I don't think it is entirely out of the question.

I'm actually looking forward to see what Danielle can do, but again, she didn't deserve to be in it. I can't stand when the Survivor season premiere follows the Super Bowl. It is a pain in the ass to have to wait for a football game to end before I can see the show. Especially when there is no limit to the duration of the game. The Super Bowl which preceded the first All Stars premiere almost went into overtime. It was bad enough to have to stay up till after midnight to finish watching the episode. I hope they don't do this. After 10 seasons, Survivor doesn't need any help and it won't gain any new viewers from doing this.

When Hell's Kitchen was on during the summer it got around 7-8 million viewers but once it started airing after idol it got 12-11 so anything is possible

You can say what you want about her, but going against Jason and working to blindside him really wasn't in her best interests and it seemed like when Jason's boot episode came around she just went "oh shit, if I don't start making some big comments I'll get edited to be invisible!". Danielle is total WTF, so that's gotta be wrong, and Sugar makes me want to vomit with rage.
