Kind of off topic, (this thread is heading that way anyway) but do you think that S20 will air after the Super Bowl on February 7, 2010? CBS will be the network airing it. I think that it would be a good idea as it is the 10 year edition of the show. Especially if they are bringing back some older favorites like Colby, Jerri, Rupert, and Boston Rob.

This idea popped into my head a couple months ago. I personally think it will happen and that this season will be the most watched season of the past several years.

There is no way CBS would waste the post Super Bowl spot on Survivor. The Big Bang Theory is most likely to get the spot With The Mentalist having a decent chance.

I don't think you can say there is no way it won't happen. Unlikely, yes, but not totally out of the question.

Survivor still does better numbers then BBT (which yes, would be a reason to give them the slot) and The Mentalist doesn't really need the position as it's doing quite well without the extra hype... it wouldn't hurt of course.

Out of those three though, Survivor is the one with the least amount of critical acclaim and will also be a premiere. I doubt it happens as well, but I don't think it is entirely out of the question.

I can't stand when the Survivor season premiere follows the Super Bowl. It is a pain in the ass to have to wait for a football game to end before I can see the show. Especially when there is no limit to the duration of the game. The Super Bowl which preceded the first All Stars premiere almost went into overtime. It was bad enough to have to stay up till after midnight to finish watching the episode. I hope they don't do this. After 10 seasons, Survivor doesn't need any help and it won't gain any new viewers from doing this.

If the cast spoilers are true then I would predict that either Candice Woodcock or Natalie would be the winner of S20. All the previous winners would have big targets on their backs so the only way that they could win is for the previous winners to align and take each other to the finals. Most of rest of the cast that didn't win have personality flaws that will prevent them from winning (eg, Rupert, Jerri, James, Randy, Coach, Stephenie, Courtney, Sugar, Danielle, Rob M., Amanda, Tyson). Maybe the unknown Samoa male will end up winning.
