I actually left for the personalities too (especially Jessie/Ronnie) but came back when I heard that Chima was going to go crazy and the two guys were gone.
Sadly the personalities are still shitty so I'm leaving again (once all this hilarious chimastans versus jeff/jordanstans dies down) |

Chima and Natalie were both smiling when it was announced and even looked as thought they thought they had a REAL chance of getting it. They had the opportunity from the start to act a bit more civilized about the game and not try to ostracize themselves from the others by acting all high and mighty. The reason why Jeff is so well liked is because he hasn't done ANYTHING that would warrant the public viewers to not like him. Just like Ronnie said, he could see Jeff getting it because he's kinda the All-American guy ro something to that effect. The ONLY thing he can be criticized for would be his spelling (Tecnotronics?) and possibly the shouting match with Russell over how poor of a speller he is. And even then he didn't get up in anyone's face or puff out his chest or call anyone out about it. And he didn't bitch about Russell to the other HG or try to backdoor him like Ronnie said he (Ronnie) should have done, or Chima and Natalie and Jessie were actually thinking about doing. He hadn't won an HOH or POV and didn't piss off anyone based on anything he said or did in the house until the Coup de Etat was used. And that was a game strategy he was presented with and he decided to use in his best interest. He did nothing wrong to warrant any hate over getting the power. The Athletes basically pushed him outta there group from the start and he had to go with someone else in order to save himself in the game. Hence the joining up with Laura, Casey and Jordan. I for one voted when I usually don't vote in stuff like this, because I knew it would make the game interesting. Again, they all knew about the power, and yet Chima didn't HAVE to win HOH that week. She could have saved herself the win for another week. HG throw comps all the time (or so they say). Knowing that power was out there, one of them could have been smart and said they should throw this comp and be able to compete the next week. And if one of THEM won the power they could still use it whatever it was. It's a long shot, but a game strategy nonetheless. |

Hell, if they were aligned with Jeff, they all would have been fan favs. The solid ratings aren't based on the "jeff and jordan" show. They are mostly due to the blowups that have been on damn near every episode for the last 2 weeks. RONNIE MADE THE HOUSE SUCK, I fully admit that. Hell, I even turned off my feeds and episodes because of that rat fuck. But I turned that back on and began watching again because of all the "unprecedented blowups". Throwing the HOH when you KNOW you don't have the power and the only people safe are the HOH and POV holder, is stupid and poor strategy. She attempted to get around the power being used by not nominating Jeff. She basically did all she could. The problem is that for such an all encompassing power, a power with no consequences, it wasn't awarded through competition. Shit, make it exactly like season 7 and just give the guy the answers, if you really want him to have it. And that is where a lot of the outrage stems from. Not bitter jessie/chima fans but from people genuinely annoyed about the blatant favoring of houseguests. The current[meaning it's not season 1 so no need to speak of that season] premise of Big Brother is cut off from the outside world, so why would the outside world have that big of an impact. Big Brother is NOT the viewing public, Big Brother is production. No one knows what happened day 1, the athletes say jeff defected, jeff says they ignored him. No way either scenario can be used as fact. This season had a great cast, without any twist, it would have been epic. Rigging really did ruin another season.

I can see maybe why you thought I was way off, but you DIDN'T read carefully!!You see I said PUBLIC VIEWERS. Those that watch the show ON TV. Not all of us viewing this show get live feeds or come onto spoiler boards. I personally hadn't heard ANYWHERE about the supposed Gay slurs or whatever, but at this point in watching the show and sometimes catching up with what happens on the boards, I DON'T CARE! I'm not racist or anything like that, but that is a glass house and everyone wants to throw stones at someone. The General public "overwhelmingly" voted for him to have the power, whether anyone likes it or not. And if THAT MANY people actually liked Chima, Jessie, Natalie or Lydia, then why weren't they given the votes? Why wasn't it AT LEAST close? Sorry that your "team" didn't get the power and that self-absorbed bodybuilder you loved got ousted. I as a VIEWER was happy and I will continue to watch and have a vested interest in the outcome. Had the other team stayed in power, I probably wouldn't have cared at all who won, cuz I don't find any of them to be entertaining. BTW, I'm looking out my window and see no Trailer-park and as I recall there's a new President in office, so if you're STILL grumpy over Bush, get over it and live in the now! Sorry that we have incomes and can afford a TV and can sit down and watch it cuz basically you're telling me that if the general public that is RICH were watching they'd like Chima, Natalie and Jessie?? |
