Might it be his resemblance to DoeEye-Manda at the FTC?

Eliza, is there any word on dodgeball this year? I haven't heard anything yet. Last year I already had my ticket by this time.

Eliza the next time you saw Dolly after you had blindsided her did she make it very clear she disliked you because of it? It just seems you avoid this one topic mayby because something nasty happened between you two.

Dawg, are you planning on attending again? I just spent the weekend in NYC and I'm getting myself a new plasma TV this week so my finances are a bit low. But if it's really delayed into December, that just might give me time to rebuild a money nest. |

I think they pushed it back to December so that gives people time to return from Samoa. So yeah, December is looking good.

So, what does everyone think of the Survivor Samoa preview???? Do you think we'll really have the biggest villain ever this season?? I'm kind of
excited!

My favorites are plaid bikini girl from Arkansas and the Ozzy/Bobby John/Gregg look-alike. <3

I don't want to watch another Coach. I don't need to see any one contestant take up that much airtime. It gets old. The fact that one contestant
(allegedly male contestant, of course) is being hyped so hard already makes me nervous.
Eliza do you feel that editing favors male contestants? How do you feel about the fact that male contestants had twice as many confessionals as female contestants in Tocantins, for instance? And that female winners have a much lower average confessional count than male winners? |

I'm with Katy. I'm a bit turned off by them already hyping this alleged super villain. Coach was bad enough to deal with, and even he didn't get
hyped before the cast was even revealed. I'm worried.
Other than that though... I'm totally of fan of "there's 20 of us!" girl, and one guy looks so much like Kevin Spacey that it's frightening. I hope he talks like Kevin Spacey too... I love his voice. What do YOU think of the Samoa preview Eliza? |

So, what does everyone think of the Survivor Samoa preview???? Do you think we'll really have the biggest villain ever this season?? I'm kind of excited! For me each new Survivor is like Christmas morning. But you have a deeper understanding of what they had to go through and the show must have a whole different meaning. There has never been a real villain. I might be tempted to use my knowledge of Pharmacology to put somthing in the food that would give me advantages. |

Katy Carney wrote:disagree During seasons that were won by women, for example Pearls Islands and Fvs.F the winners actually gave most of the confessionals that were shown. I think Sandra's confessionals were kinda "overused" in her season. She was the first to speak in her season in a confessional and she went on winning as we all know. Parvati also gave like 100s of confessionals. |

Katy Carney wrote: Male contestants had twice as many confessionals than females on Tocantins because males dominated that season. The gameplay was all about JT, Stephen, Coach, Tyson and Brendan. A season like Micronesia, where the gameplay is dominated by females, likewise featured plenty of confessionals from players like Parvati and Cirie and less from the males. If you are good enough at the game or a big enough personality, you will get heavily featured, regardless of your gender. |

matty p wrote: That's inaccurate. It is not a matter of "domination" or being an interesting character. Joe, for instance, had more confessionals than Debbie. He was a prejury boot and she got sixth. Your perception of who "dominates" or who is interesting is based on the edit anyway. Your Micronesia comparison doesn't hold up. The difference between male and female confessionals in that season is around 50, a far cry from double, almost all of which can be accounted for in the final episode when there were no men to feature. Up until that point they were roughly equal. In a season like Tocantins where women were present in roughly equal numbers to the men throughout the season there's not even that excuse. Likewise in Gabon, where men had 250 something confessionals to the women's 150 something. During seasons that were won by women, for example Pearls Islands and Fvs.F the winners actually gave most of the confessionals that were shown. I think Sandra's confessionals were kinda "overused" in her season. She was the first to speak in her season in a confessional and she went on winning as we all know. Parvati also gave like 100s of confessionals. That's incorrect. Parvati has the lowest average confessional total of any winner. Male winners average 20 or so more confessionals than female winners, and the majority of female winners come from a time when there were more confessionals in general, which is even more surprising. Confessionals are just an example. They're easy to quantify. From my perspective it's obvious that men are featured more prominently on the show. I just wonder why. |

Eliza,
It seems like survivor will go beyond 20 and it also seems like every few years there are returning players. Do you really think you have a chance at a third time? |
