Sarah losing her main allies (Boston Rob and Sean) in a tribal swap and getting voted out by Kathy, Neleh, and Pascal. 9. Bubba & Rory dead in the water at the new Yasur Tribe. 8. Jenny going home at the double-Raro tribal council just before the merge. 7. Shawn going home b/c of the outcast twist in Pearl Islands. 6. Silas shipped off to Boran where his tribemates threw the IC, to get rid of him. 5. The entire, original Ravu tribe in Fiji --- no comfort, no food. 4. Marcus voted out at Final 10 by Kenny, Crystal, and Susie after a tribal swap took the place of what looked to be a merge and an individual immunity challenge. 3. Wanda & Johnathan not picked for tribes. 2. Aaron (who was in the dominant Fei Long alliance) traded to Zhan Hu where the IC was promptly thrown and he was voted out. 1. Shi-ann bitten by the no-merge merge.

If you have time to try to save your ass, and you know elimination is coming, then I don't really feel sorry for you, Sarah, Shawn, Silas, Travis, Marcus, and Aaron. And yeah, the haves vs have nots idea was horrible. Perhaps a great concept, like TAR:FE, but in hindsight...

That twist is what got her on ASS and there was absolutely no way Shii Ann was winning Thailand. The ones that were most royally screwed by twists were Ozzy, Yau Man and Cirie by the F3/F2 twists. They each lost a great chance at the million. After those 3, Silas and Jenny should be next on the list, victims of completely unprecedented and unexpected twists. (Why do I put Silas and not Sarah? Silas was in a good position before the twist while Sarah was in Shii Ann's position: A player without a chance at the million.) The Outcast twist hurt more the tribe that would have gained the upper hand after the merge. Osten probably would not have quit on his team in such a position while Fairplay probably flips. So, maybe the Outcast twist hurt Savage, T, Ryno and Darah more than anyone else but who knows who would have won PI in that case. The only certainty is that it would not have been Shawn, Fairplay, Osten, Burton or Lill. All other twists gave the "victims" a chance to recover. For example, Aaron should have been friendlier with Jamie when she was kidnapped instead of acting almighty. Michelle should have answered her TC grilling differently. Marcus should not have divided the votes against Susie and Dan just before the merge, showing Susie just how precarious her position was.

Really, they knew about it for weeks? I'm pretty sure it was thrown at them last minute, it was something never done before. On the other twists, Aaron was screwed the most of all. It basically handed Zhan Hu a chance to pick off 2 strong players from the other tribe. Erik was very lucky that he didn't come off that strong to Fei Long, otherwise they'd have stolen him and done the same thing that was done to Aaron. Wanda/Jonathan also got robbed of getting the chance to play with the pickem. They should have just done 2 tribes of 10 and let everyone have a shot at it. Jenny got what she deserved. She put herself on a poor position, giving the power to the 4 original Raro's and assuming Jonathan was going to go out after he was spared twice already. She should have made a move the round before with Rebecca/Nate to get Jonathan to swing to them. Marcus as well got his just desserts. He fucked up his majority the week before, ensuring Susie would flop to Fang. I can't speak for Susie, but I'd like to think that if the merger had happened, Fang would have gone after her for 5 votes, tied the vote and used the idol to knock off one of the Onions. All Marcus had to do was NOT split the vote between Dan/Susie. It was a dumb move to think Dan had the idol, he only got one trip out there, it was obviously with Sugar since she went FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. But the Onions were idiots anyways and their poor play got them their tickets to the jury.

Ending up in an unlucky situation due to a twist is no less fair than it is for the people who start out on sucky tribes or are targeted right away for petty reasons before they can form relationships and call upon people's loyalty. You can't get yourself into a dominant alliance or secure position in the game without some amount of luck, so I reject the notion that once you have that initial luck, you're entitled to it for the rest of the game.

Really, they knew about it for weeks? I'm pretty sure it was thrown at them last minute, it was something never done before. Yeah, Yul acted surprised and all, but... On Day 36, Parvati was voted out (F6). On Day 37, they still have 5 people. On Day 38, they have F4. They may not have realized it on Day 18, but it also doesn't take a math major to figure out by day 36 or 37 that you can't have a F2 with both the amount of people left and the tribal council schedule.

It was done so that no ethnic group could control the votes. You have to add Rebecca and Jenny as jurors, 2 Ozzy votes. 2- Jonathan wrote that the only way he'd ever consider voting for Becky was if she'd have played the game by voting out Yul. Penner would have voted Ozzy. 3- Sundra said it was a very hard decision between Yul and Ozzy but because Yul was almost like Jesus, she had to vote for him. I take that she could have voted Ozzy over Becky. That means: Rebecca: Ozzy Jenny: Ozzy Nate: Ozzy Candace: Becky Penner: Ozzy Parvati: Ozzy Adam: Ozzy Sundra: ? It would have been possible that the season went 42 days. That was something done before and much more realistic than a Final 3.
